RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly quotas as well as daily activity expectations
  • Successfully manage a sales pipeline from start to finish
  • Make a high volume of sales calls on a daily basis
  • Build and maintain strong rapport over the phone with potential clients to uncover prospect needs and give a strong, crisp and on-point presentation over the phone
  • Be persistent - consistently follow up with potential clients to negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Ability to organize work day and be proactive with time management
  • Track notes on all interactions and keep opportunities in your pipeline up to date in Salesforce

ABOUT THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE AND THE GIGMASTERS TEAM:

The Knot WorldWide’s GigMasters is seeking an Account Executive located in our NYC office. We are looking for a go-getter with a strong background in closing high-volume sales -specifically new accounts.  You own the cold call and can close deals in the blink of an eye. Others characterize you as a people person who can build relationships quickly in order to reach sales targets and boost GigMasters market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Account Strategist Team is dedicated to working with our local vendors ensuring they have the best experience with The Knot Worldwide. They work closely with local wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response.

The Account Strategist is responsible for providing superior customer service, marketing insights, basic tech-support to local and international wedding pros!  You’ll work with Account Executive(s)/Account Manager(s), and local/international wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response. This position is a vital role in retaining customers, collecting online ad assets, upselling current clients and surpassing your customers’ expectations!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately, efficiently and professionally answer all incoming calls and emails
  • Onboard clients successfully into their partnership with The Knot & WeddingWire local marketplace
  • Upsell current clients to new products to enhance their business
  • Save current customers from cancelling their partnership
  • Problem-solve technical questions and issues that customers may have and work cross-departmentally to resolve them
  • Assist customers or situations with a calm and professional demeanor

SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNT STRATEGISTS CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English. Ideally a native Spanish speaker or fully bilingual
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Billing Support Specialist team works daily to assist our internal teams with their clients’ billing needs.  Our goal is to collect money for the sales team and ensure customer’s billing accounts are up to date. This role works directly with sales and service teams and clients via phone and email across the country.  We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and we do what it takes to maintain our loyal client base while working to meet business needs.

If you are someone who enjoys seeing the reward of helping others and who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and speak with people from all over the country, this position is perfect for you. This role is an integral part of our sales team and impacts our bottom line.  The Billing Support Specialist acts as the expert in all things billing and is available and happy to help our internal teams answer questions their clients have. We will contact customers in regards to past due balances on their account while providing excellent customer service to other team members and our valued advertisers.

This is a temporary position (40 hours/week) projected to start July 8, 2019 and end September 30, 2019 with the possibility to extend to December 31, 2019.  If there is a business need, the position could become full-time in 2020.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer billing questions via phone and email from our internal teams and our clients
  • Serve as the expert in all billing questions and needs for both internal and external clients
  • Contact vendors to resolve outstanding invoices
  • Process credit card payments and update payment and contact information as needed
  • Negotiate and set up payment arrangements as needed

WeddingWire’s Business Development Executive will join this high-growth team to build the leading global platform connecting engaged couples with wedding and event professionals in India. We are seeking fluent English and Hindi speaking professionals who will focus on creating relationships with local event business owners, understanding their needs, and onboarding them through education to grow our Indian web portal.  This role will work out of our office in Gurgaon, India.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Through phone conversations, identify, recruit and onboard new wedding professionals (photographers, banquet halls, makeup artists, etc.) with exceptional customer service
  • Create positive and productive customer experiences as a brand ambassador while scheduling and conducting vendor meetings in an efficient and timely manner
  • In a consultative and organized way, solicit and document information about prospective vendors’ services
  • Drive success for company and customers and ensure quality and compliance with company guidelines by validating data through client follow up
  • Influence and educate prospective clients about the WeddingWire products, its benefits to their business and the success that they can expect as a pioneering member of our India platform
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal team members and international colleagues to develop content for vendor profile completion and facilitate feedback in support of continuous improvement

The Client Billing Specialist team works daily to resolve past due balances on active customer accounts.  Our goal is to collect money for the sales team and ensure customer’s billing accounts are up to date. This role works directly with business owners via phone and email across the country.  We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and we do what it takes to maintain our loyal client base while working to meet business needs.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Director, Revenue & Yield Operations is a key leader on TKWW’s National team reporting to the VP, Head of National Strategy & Operations.  This person oversees the yield, utilization and forecasting of all media products and inventory.  This includes managing a team of two individuals responsible for setting rate cards / price floors, analyzing inventory trends and developing new audience data segments using The Knot Worldwide's unique 1st party data. This person is an experienced and strategic leader, who takes a proactive and innovative approach to managing inventory, pricing and related platforms. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work seamlessly across direct, programmatic and performance based revenue channels
  • Business lead on managing inventory platforms and related activities tied to quality and verification
  • Architect 1st party audience data segments and manage the DMP set-up / usage
  • Lead The Knot Worldwide’s National pricing strategy, including quarterly rate cards, ad hoc price incentives and programmatic price optimizations
  • Oversee capacity, rates and sell thru projections across TKWW's broad base of products, including: display, video, social and email
  • Identify, communicate, and execute against opportunities for incremental revenue based on historical demand and seasonal influences
  • Keep up to date on market leading technologies, make proactive recommendations and execute on process / platform improvements
  • Take an innovative approach in utilizing inventory to maximize yield, understands alignment of inventory/product performance against marketing KPIs / goals
  • Independently problem solve and coach the team to navigate against new variables in the process
  • Strong cross team collaborator, particularly with Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations and Product
  • Observe team activities and workflow, make positive improvements in the process
  • Coach and develop individual team members, setting annual goals and meeting regularly to discuss progress
  • Maintain a positive attitude while being solutions-oriented

SUCCESSFUL DIRECTORS OF REVENUE & YIELD OPERATIONS HAVE:

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in sales support / yield management in digital advertising
  • Experience managing a 2-3 person team
  • BS, preferred in Marketing or Business (or other related fields)
  • Strong ability to multi-task across multiple high priority and time sensitive projects and stakeholders
  • Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive and customer-centric attitude
  • Experience with Digital Ad Platforms, Technologies and Systems (DMPAdServingYieldEx, Operative One, Salesforce.com, MOAT, Social and Programmatic)
  • Proficient in Excel, Google suite

WeddingWire India’s Executive of Customer Experience will join this high-growth team to drive user and vendor projects as part of the operations line of the leading global platform connecting engaged couples with wedding and event professionals. We are seeking a personable professional who, through targeted and direct contact, will help brides and grooms set realistic expectations as they embark through the wedding planning process. This relationship will support customers to be satisfied, to take more action using the WeddingWire platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With exceptional customer, extensive wedding trend and etiquette knowledge and service and accountability for the full lifecycle, drive a positive customer experience measured through satisfaction, delivery of quality projects published within agreed upon timelines, etc.
  • Serve as a WeddingWire brand ambassador by sharing the excitement of each couples’ personal wedding planning journey, helping them maximize their experience through vendor search, planning tools, forums and editorial content and encouraging couples to take actions on vendor search, lead submission and bookings.
  • Customize education and communication specific to each couple based on needs, expectations, challenges, locations, preferred medium (email, phone, chat, etc.) and more.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal team members and international colleagues to track and report updates to project status and contribute to the continuous development and improvement of project delivery.

SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EXECUTIVE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Excellent, enthusiastic and dynamic communication on all channels (in-person, phone and written).
  • Familiarity with technology-based platforms and in-depth knowledge and experience with Customer Care.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a Vendor Support Representative, you are responsible for providing superior customer service, marketing insights and basic tech-support to our wedding pro’s! You will manage client questions via phone, email, social channels and live chat; assist clients with their ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their success in partnering with us. A primary responsibility is to assist clients in navigate our online products and platform and problem solve technical issues that may be encountered. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, as you’ll assist clients through in-bound phone calls, emails and live chat.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately, efficiently and professionally answer all incoming phone calls, emails and live chats
  • Have an understanding of the significance of providing great customer service and adhere to high standards at all times
  • Communicate thoroughly with Clients, tech teams and other team members
  • Problem-solve technical questions and issues that Clients may have and work cross-departmentally to resolve them
  • Assist difficult clients or situations with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Take a pro-active approach toward suggesting improvements for products and platforms that our Clients work with and in
  • Continually learn new products and stay up to date with product releases to more accurately assist clients that contact us 

SUCCESSFUL VENDOR SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurately type and respond to a Client on the phone at the same time
  • Customer Service experience preferably in an online retailer or advertising industry position
  • Experience selling existing clients and ability to identify upsell opportunities, pitch products and close sales, is a huge plus
  • Comfortable handling difficult clients or situations, keeping calm.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Docs) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • College degree preferred
