ABOUT THE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ROLE AND THE GIGMASTERS TEAM:

The Knot WorldWide’s GigMasters is seeking an Account Executive located in our NYC office. We are looking for a go-getter with a strong background in closing high-volume sales -specifically new accounts.  You own the cold call and can close deals in the blink of an eye. Others characterize you as a people person who can build relationships quickly in order to reach sales targets and boost GigMasters market presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to meet and exceed all sales and performance goals on a consistent basis
  • Educate potential clients on the value of GigMasters and  how our partnership can grow their business
  • Give prospective clients a strong, crisp and  on point presentation over the phone
  • Be inquisitive, confident and know how to ask great questions to uncover the prospects needs
  • Eloquently convince the client why GigMasters is the right company for them to work with
  • Committed to prospecting  and cold calling in order to increase our market presence across an assigned region
  • Be persistent - consistently following up with potential clients to close sales
  • Know how to make a recommendation based on the customer’s needs and customize a plan for the client

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years sales experience (outbound phone sales a plus)
  • College degree preferred
  • Past experience in high-volume sales on a daily /weekly basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Driven and Self-Motivated
  • Proven track record of closing new accounts
  • CRM software experience a plus
  • A team player mentality and good communication skills a must

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Account Strategist Team is dedicated to working with our local vendors all across the country ensuring they have the best experience with The Knot. We work closely with  local wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response.  

The Account Strategist is responsible for providing superior customer service, marketing insights, basic tech-support to local wedding pro’s!  You’ll work closely with Account Executive(s) and local wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response.  This position is a vital role in retaining customers, collecting online ad assets, upselling current clients and surpassing your customers’ expectations!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately, efficiently and professionally answer all incoming calls and emails
  • Upsell current clients to new products to enhance their business
  • Save current customers from cancelling their partnership
  • Problem-solve technical questions and issues that customers may have and work cross-departmentally to resolve them
  • Assist customers or situations with a calm and professional demeanor

SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNT STRATEGIST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer Service experience required, preferably experience in advertising or marketing
  • Experience selling existing customers and ability to identify upsell opportunities, pitch products and close sales, is a huge plus.
  • Previous experience assisting small to medium businesses and the ability to adapt to a variety of customer types.
  • Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Docs) and the ability to learn new systems quickly

The Billing Operations Specialist role is responsible for all backend system and billing operational duties. This role reports into the Vendor Support Team.   The BOS team members have a broad range of responsibilities within their role. WeddingWire’s Business Development Executive will join this high-growth team to build the leading global platform connecting engaged couples with wedding and event professionals in India. We are seeking fluent English and Hindi speaking professionals who will focus on creating relationships with local event business owners, understanding their needs, and onboarding them through education to grow our Indian web portal.  This role will work out of our office in Gurgaon, India.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Through phone conversations, identify, recruit and onboard new wedding professionals (photographers, banquet halls, makeup artists, etc.) with exceptional customer service
  • Create positive and productive customer experiences as a brand ambassador while scheduling and conducting vendor meetings in an efficient and timely manner
  • In a consultative and organized way, solicit and document information about prospective vendors’ services

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Director of Ad Operations & Ad Technology (you!) will be a strong leader on the National Strategy & Operations team. You will be responsible for managing a team of specificalists in ad platforms, revenue products and trafficking operations. This role also collaborates closely with technical product management and yield leaders on strategy and owns the management and evolution of our entire Ad Tech stack (including programmatic & data). Ensures we are conducting business using leading platforms that are best aligned with our monetization strategies and goals.

The ideal candidate has a very strong ad tech background, is a strategic thinker and comfortable working across a variety of platforms and systems. This person is a solutions-oriented problem-solver who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get to the right answer or resolve an issue and is focused on performance driven outcomes for our national advertisers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the implementation of new ad & data technologies in the ad stack, supporting direct and programmatic sold campaigns.
  • Works with Ad Product Manager on the team to create ad product roadmap/strategy - including execution and development of new product releases.
  • Work cross functional leadership in product and engineering.
  • Build data structures to maximize business intelligence and ad targeting capabilities
  • Knowledgeable of ad industry trends to capitalize on revenue opportunities

  • BS/BA or equivalent in marketing, business, technology or other related field
  • 8+ years experience in a technical or ad ops role at an online environment
  • Deep knowledge of ad serving and data technologies, DFP, DMP (Lotame) and AdX experience required.
  • Enthusiastic, professional demeanor and experience working in a client-oriented setting (internal or external)
  • Proficiency in basic HTML, data structures, Javascript, HTTP Request and Advanced MS Excel (Power Pivots/VLOOKUP)

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR, REVENUE OPERATIONS ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Director, Revenue Operations is a key leader on XO’s National Strategy & Operations team reporting to the VP, Head of National Strategy & Operations.  This person oversees media pricing/rate cards, inventory forecasting, data segmentation and deal approvals. This person is an experienced and strategic leader, managing the team to execute, acting as the point of escalation and introducing innovation into process and approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage Revenue Operations team responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of strategic and tactical yield and inventory management for display, video, social, email and print ad products, including related reporting
  • Oversee short-term and long-term capacity and sell thru projections, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and full-year projections
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory forecasts, through detailed analysis and regular updates
  • Business lead on inventory quality / verification platform and initiatives
  • Lead The Knot WorldWide’s National Pricing Strategy for Media, including annual and seasonal rates as well as ad hoc price incentives
  • Analyze price sensitivity by market segment, demand and reservation across multiple sales channels
  • Identify, communicate, and execute against opportunities for incremental revenue based on historical demand and seasonal influences
  • Participate in the creation of operational workflow and internal process controls, promote the adherence to process and identify potential risks
  • Lead training and information sessions with all parties, at all levels, involved in the revenue management process
  • Strong cross team collaborator, particularly with Sales and Sales Support Teams
  • Seamlessly work across direct and programmatic channels as well as planning, delivering and optimizing toward awareness and performance driven KPIs
  • Support any technical / system based transitions that impact revenue and inventory management
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to automate regular reporting to drive advanced analytics and insights

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in sales support in digital advertising
  • Experience managing a 2-3 person team
  • BS, preferred in Marketing or Business (or other related fields)

Revenue Forecasting and Pipeline Management - monitor overall health of TKWW bookings and pipeline by:

  • Generating quarterly and annual forecasts vs. budget weekly using gross sales and revenue booked vs. prior years pacing
  • Completing ad hoc analysis on close rates and historic trends to quantify risk or growth opportunity inherent in current pipeline
  • Refreshing weekly pipeline and pacing reports to be reviewed by senior leadership and presented in our weekly sales meeting
  • Providing ad hoc reports on bookings by category, product, and/or advertiser on an as requested basis

Compensation Structure, Goal Setting, and Account List Management - facilitate and maintain everything related to the goal setting and tracking process by:

  • Manage the entire compensation planning cycle including contract origination, goal setting, account list distribution and management, quarterly achievement, and payout calculations
  • Working with Senior Leadership to define a compensation structure that drives revenue and aligns the sales and support teams with broader organizational goals
  • Ensuring the correct account ownership and splits are reflected in Salesforce and Birst for achievement reporting purposes
  • Originating dashboards for the sales team to provide insight into their pacing and achievement

Sales Process Optimization - ensure the sales process aligns with systems and team visibility into their clients, accounts, and overall achievement by:

  • Working with the Enterprise Systems team on all salesforce configuration changes
  • Working with Business Intelligence to leverage our reporting platforms by building automated dashboards and additional reporting
