RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee an engineering team focused on delivering features in our weddings marketplace.
  • Ensure the team is operating effectively to reach the goals, its members are properly supported and deliver quality software.
  • Collaborate with other squads within the same zone in BCN and US.
  • Develop, coach and mentor multiple engineers at various stages of their career to ensure growth and cultivate emerging leaders.
  • Provide leadership within the team to ensure solutions are built in alignment with company principles.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, and retros.
  • Partner with product and design to plan and deliver OKRs.
  • Actively participate in establishing the broader technical and product strategy that supports our company goals.
  • Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to set the vision and create the tech roadmap to effectively operate this product and platform.
  • Formulate and proactively look for opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of the teams.

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Have 7+ years of proven industry experience with 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience building web applications in PHP, preferably using Symfony. Experience with NodeJS is a plus.
  • Experience working within an Agile based environment.
  • A track record of shipping successful consumer facing products.
  • Deep understanding of distributed system design utilizing both relational and non-relational data stores.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Systems HelpDesk Technician (you!) will work in our Barcelona office (or remotely) and will closely interact with our Global accounting and internal software teams.

You will be working with international teams and accounting orgs serving dozens of different countries simultaneously.

This role will touch various internal technology workstreams, but is heavily focused on Enterprise systems used by our accounting and finance teams including NetSuite, Coupa, Zuora Revenue, and Adaptive. Your responsibilities will include working closely with our Global Accounting, Billing, and FP&A teams to understand their needs, evaluating current systems, identifying necessary configuration/customization, implementing system changes, and working closely with stakeholders to test and launch changes. You should be comfortable interacting with finance team members to achieve successful outcomes. You will serve as a point of contact for these teams when they have questions or need guidance working with these systems. You’ll work inside of our Global Enterprise Team with Accounting, FP&A and Custom Development teams  to ensure that our financial systems are being built & maintained in a sustainable, compliant, and successful manner. You’ll also frequently work with other team members in the Global Enterprise Team to sync data into financial systems from CRM and other internal systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide level one support and troubleshooting related to financial systems to ensure other team members can succeed.
  • Manage incoming Financial Systems Help Desk support tickets.
  • Manage user access to systems while being aware of related permissions, system roles, and the way in which they are assigned those roles.
  • Guide system changes and processes to preserve data integrity while being conscious of data access and security concerns.
  • Gain a close understanding of the common issues users of our financial systems face and work to identify not just short term, but long term enhancements to make our systems work better for our employees.
  • Support Finance and IT audit and data management requirements and assist the Finance team with other projects, tasks and duties, as needed.
  • Works with quality assurance/testing team to ensure the appropriate level of testing has been completed prior to implementation of change.
  • Works on multiple, moderate to high complex projects as a project team member, for the development of new system customizations and processes.
  • You are responsible for the configurations and customizations of our financial systems including the planning, reviews and revisions pertaining to the organization’s evolving needs. Create and maintain documentation of our systems and all related business processes.

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

 

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience working within an Enterprise System environment supporting a Cloud ERP platform.
  • A working knowledge of the general functions of an accounting team and how they are accomplished through a mix of tools to meet reporting and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge and/or certification working with common Enterprise systems such as Netsuite, Coupa, Adaptive, and Zuora Revenue. Previous experience with credit card processors such as Adyen and Cybersource is preferable. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with finance teams, technical teams, and system users at all levels in the organization.
  • Experience working with a technical support help desk platform. 
  • Fluency speaking in English and Spanish.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We’re seeking a talented and highly motivated full-stack engineer to join The Knot Invitations team. This is an exciting new line of business for The Knot Worldwide and we are making significant investments in our offering. The products you will be working on help couples find and customize wedding invitations that inspire and delight. Our tools power our paper offerings across multiple brands and are integral to solving user pain points and meeting business goals. We have ambitious, experiment-driven milestones but we also have a commitment to quality. New code at all levels of the stack is expected to be extensible, high performing, scalable, and secure. What you build will make the wedding planning process more enjoyable and less stressful for our millions of users.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop features for The Knot Invitations suite of tools that couples use to find, customize, and purchase their wedding invitations.
  • Maintain the existing Invitations platform in Drupal 8.
  • Produce well-tested, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Collaborate in the Agile development process to help architect, build, and ship new features.
  • Be an advocate for coding best practices on the team, and stay up-to-date on new technologies and industry standards.
  • Engage with the tech organization beyond our team. Partner with engineering teams in the United States and around the globe to make decisions on architecture, data, and process patterns.

SENIOR ENTERPRISE PROJECT MANAGER:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in current and future initiatives that span TKWW’s systems supporting engineering, sales and business teams.   • Partner with the head of Enterprise Operations to manage the portfolio of programs that support teams across TKWW global offices
  • Be the DRI for complex cross functional projects that directly impact company OKRs
  • Create and maintain project management artifacts including (but not limited to): communication plans, risk logs, decision logs, escalation procedures, project schedules, scope statements, high-level and detailed business requirements, technical specification documents
  • Manage vendor selection processes
  • Identify blockers and risks early, working to resolve or escalate when appropriate
  • Regularly communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
  • Manage a multi-product release process to test, validate, and implement changes to  applications & code

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience including: analysis, project management, process management, program management, people management, vendor management, and client management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is a Senior Software Engineer position.
  • This is a remote position. We are based in Barcelona but if you’re living in Spain you may also apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in current and future initiatives that span TKWW’s product, engineering, and business teams. You will get the exciting opportunity to lead large scale, complex technical projects. Your primary role will be to lead programs for our Marketplace zone in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales & Revenue Operations, Business Development teams, and the Product & Technology Organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Marketplace Zone leadership to drive efficient and effective delivery of key initiatives
  • Fully own the project management life cycle: Plan, schedule and ensure execution of project tasks, milestones, and deliverables related to the Marketplace products
  • Create and maintain project management artifacts including (but not limited to): communication plans, risk logs, decision logs, escalation procedures, project schedules, scope statements, high-level and detailed business requirements, technical specification documents
  • Identify blockers and risks early, working to resolve or escalate when appropriate
  • Facilitate cross functional meetings and drive alignment on dependencies and manage to the shared objectives
  • Regularly communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
  • Manage a multi-product release process to test, validate, and implement changes to  applications & code
  • Provide agile coaching/recommendations to help teams optimize their velocity

SUCCESSFUL TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience including: analysis, project management, process management, program management, people management, vendor management, and client management
  • Experience managing large scale, complex programs that span Product and Business teams
  • Experience successfully managing coordinated releases
  • Jira experience is preferred
  • Smartsheet experience is a plus

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide is looking to hire a talented and driven iOS mobile engineer to join our development team. You will be responsible for transforming big ideas into real life products which will be enjoyed by millions.

SUCCESSFUL iOS DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATES HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • 2+ years overall engineering experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Independent, highly motivated developer with a desire to learn
  • Firm understanding of application programming and iOS architecture patterns
  • Proven real-world experience using Swift and Cocoa Touch APIs successfully
  • Familiar with writing unit tests in the iOS environment
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles and Human Interface Guidelines
  • A strong desire to build amazing consumer experiences
  • Great at problem-solving and happy to share your thinking

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage skills and experience to implement product features that are well architected, tested, and understandable
  • Actively participate in the ideation and execution of our product roadmap and Agile Planning
  • Follow best practices surrounding iOS development
  • Gives and receives feedback from other engineers on the team to continually collaborate, learn, and grow

Bonus Qualities:

  • Knowledge of advanced iOS development patterns and tools such as MVVM, Combine, Diffable Data Source, etc
  • You’ve experimented with SwiftUI
  • Knowledge of UI test frameworks
