This person will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing from copywriters to other designers to our internal marketing gurus to produce onbrand design that creates a joyful user experience and elevates our brands. The primary area of focus will be on our B2B brand, with opportunities to design projects for our consumer brands and The Knot Worldwide company initiatives.

The ideal candidate would promote and practice user-centered design in creating deliverables across web, mobile, email, social platforms and occasionally print. The majority of the work will be digital, but this person must possess solid PRINT skills too.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work under the direction of the Creative Director and Senior Design Marketing Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

 The Knot Worldwide is looking for an Email Marketing Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join the existing WeddingWire email team and implement email marketing campaigns that drive consumer engagement. The Email Marketing Associate will partner with the Creative Team and other marketing stakeholders to create new email campaigns that support WeddingWire’s promotional and advertising programs. Day-to-day, this person will be building email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s Content Builder, segmenting data using SQL queries, scheduling email sends, and reporting performance of campaigns. The Associate will also create customer journeys and automations. The person will also provide execution support for B2B email campaigns in Pardot — building and sending campaigns to support vendor communications. The right candidate needs to have the technical capacity to learn HTML email coding, data segmentation with SQL, and scripting for dynamic content.

This is a great opportunity to build both technical and marketing skills in lifecycle marketing.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the various stakeholders to build email campaigns that drive consumer engagement and generates leads.
  • Support National Sales Team with execution of Partner Offers, email messages sent on behalf of national advertisers such as Macy’s and Wayfair.
  • Manage the daily set-up of one-time and automated email campaigns, content and message optimization, mobile-responsive email template creation & editing (HTML), list segmentation, deployment, and reporting in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Support the B2B Email Marketing Manager by executing email campaigns in Pardot to support vendor communications such as webinar invites, event invites, and promotional campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this position, you will be involved in projects from start through completion, from determining project design to analyzing findings.  This person will also be tasked with helping the Insights team create presentations to bring to life research findings and monitoring the competitive landscape. A successful candidate will have an analytical mindset and be able to use the data to tell a compelling story.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with all phases of survey research, including writing questions, programming surveys and compiling findings into digestible and insightful reports. 
  • Become an expert on the company’s survey tool and help team members implement advanced logic, skip patterns, etc. 
  • Work with the team on cleaning, analyzing and synthesizing data  into clear and compelling summaries for key stakeholders across the company
  • Help with project management, including tracking and reporting on the status of projects in the pipeline and maintaining repository of insights reports for the organization to access

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide B2B Marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager of Educator Programs. The team works hard to help local wedding pros across the country succeed in weddings through industry-leading products, education, events, and support. We’re looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves Senior Manager that is curious, enthusiastic, creative, a problem solver and above all, a team player.  Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this dynamic role touches all aspects of our industry and has direct oversight over the wedding pro education strategy, high-profile ambassador program, content, channels, and strategic industry partnerships. This role will be a key player, working closely with the marketing team to develop new engaging content and experiences that bring our brand to life and help wedding pros grow. An ideal fit for individuals passionate about community building, networking, education, small businesses, and anyone who aspires to launch their own wedding industry gig in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and successfully execute annual education program, activated through sold-out events, webinars, social, blog, sales support and more. Includes working closely with channel owners (Research Team, Events Team, marketing managers, etc) to bring to life.
  • Run ambassador program (includes identifying ambassadors, developing a content strategy to highlight each unique pro, working with them all year long, and building on their relationships in the industry) to produce on-brand and high-quality education content for events, webinars, blog, social channels, roundtables, etc to grow our brand awareness and affinity.
  • Ongoing discovery of and building relationships with local and national associations to build strategic partnerships across the country and identify speaking and thought-leadership opportunities within. Manage the high performing team running our content channels (social, blog, email, etc).
  • Define and own success metrics tied to education, sales revenue from events, social engagement, ambassador program and association partnerships.
  • Onsite management and liaison between speakers, a/v team and events team at events throughout the country to successfully activate education content.
  • Work with sales to identify and produce revenue-generating opportunities through education-focused events like roundtables and ad-hoc speaking sessions across the country.
  • Learn new things. Seriously.   

SUCCESSFUL SR MANAGER, EDUCATOR PROGRAMS CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience  
  • Customer Relationship/Engagement/Loyalty skillset
  • Experience working in the wedding industry or directly with wedding pros strongly preferred
  • Experience in event marketing production
  • Effective multi-tasker, communicator, problem-solver with a great attention to detail
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experienced content creation and strong writing skills required
  • Passion for and experience in building education strategy and (bonus) consulting small-to-medium-sized businesses
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills a must
  • Intermediate to advanced Keynote, PowerPoint, and Slides skills
  • Excited to travel to local market events to engage with business partners and educate

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a member of the WeddingWire.in Social Media team, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for the execution of WeddingWire.in’s consumer social media strategy.  You will take care of the social media team’s daily management of WeddingWire.in social media accounts - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.  The Social Media Executive will curate and schedule content, as well as monitor and analyze follower behavior and make recommendations on appropriate strategies to grow followers and engagement across WeddingWire.in’s channels. Key duties include shortlisting images from vendors’ social media accounts, developing content for posting, researching new channels, maintaining posting schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact (through phone, email, DMs) and build a good rapport with our vendor community (specially photographers and makeup artists) to source image and video content 
  • Evangelize WeddingWire.in among social media communities to engage with couples planning their weddings 
  • Create original content that builds meaningful connections and encourages follower engagement 
  • Engage with followers on a daily basis, participating in conversations that surround our content and brand 
  • Collaborate with the reporting manager on new campaign initiatives and exchange best practices 
  • Build WeddingWire.in’s awareness across all social media networks 
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to extract insights and communicate the risk, impact, and opportunities to members of the marketing team and beyond 
  • Manage and execute the annual social media calendar 
  • Constantly test new ideas and engage with our followers across all platforms 

SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE: 

  • Minimum 1 year of social media experience 
  • Demonstrated success with managing social media channels Facebook, Instagram 
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.  This includes knowing what type of content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform. 
  • Visual intelligence: Must have a “good eye” and identify visual content that will resonate with WeddingWire.in’s followers. 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects 
  • Web savvy and enjoys keeping up with new content-sharing technologies online 
  • Strong creative writing and communications skills 
  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism 
  • Proven ability to deliver results driving follower growth and engagement growth 
  • Excellent writing skills, copy/editing skills 
  • Understanding of videography, photography (editing on Photoshop, Canva, Over etc.) (desired, not mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, or Communications with a strong academic record (desired, not mandatory)
  • Demonstrated success with managing social media channels - Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube (desired, not mandatory)
