ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

WeddingWire.in is looking for a smart, results-oriented Marketing Manager to drive GTM strategy, end-to-end planning and execution for our marketing team. This person should be well-rounded and willing to jump in to get the job done wherever needed. This position will manage social, influencers, partnerships, and more including all owned and earned media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role will be directly reporting to the Marketing lead & would be responsible for driving the Social Media team as well as working on the brand content requirement. 
  • The ideal candidate would have a minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably from an internet background, leading online brand, and/or brand creative agency with experience as an account manager or a brand planner. 
  • Exposure to Digital Marketing is a must with understanding how to calendar plan, ideate & execute brand campaigns (digitally). 
  • Scripting or content writing would be an add-on

ABOUT THE SENIOR MARKETING COPYWRITER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a smart, passionate and stellar digital copywriter with 7+ years of experience to join our fast-paced, in-house creative marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a natural storyteller that can engage our audience in both long-form and short-form copy. 

This person will work closely with stakeholders across the organization from designers to other copywriters to our internal marketing gurus to produce onbrand copy that creates a joyful, engaging user experience, drives users to take action, and elevates our brands. The areas of focus will include B2B and B2C Marketing, along with The Knot Worldwide company initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write compelling, on-brand copy that inspires, informs and delights our audience while driving action across a suite of channels including B2B and B2C marketing campaigns, ecommerce, emails, social, push notifications, landing pages, and industry leading online planning tools.
  • Adhering to multiple brand voices, often in the same day, to ensure consistency.
  • Conceptualize all copy projects with a data driven mentality in order to constantly improve user actions and engagement.
  • Possess the ability to “write visually” — have a solid understanding of channel constraints and the product you are writing for, visualize how your copy could look in a layout and provide copy documents that help the designer understand your visions.
  • Be an expert in creating online banner ads, direct emails, sweepstakes, landing pages, and other advertising/promotion campaigns. 
  • Manage simultaneous projects from inception to completion. 
  • Collaborate and partner with a range of teams including but not limited to, other copywriters, internal marketing departments, product, designers, events, and video.
  • Manage and lead the marketing copywriter team, ensuring all projects remain on brand while maintaining relatability with our evolving audience.

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR MARKETING COPYWRITER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 7+ years of advertising/marketing copywriting in support of digital campaigns
  • 2+ years managing or leading a team
  • Self-starter, innovative thinker, and excellent project management skills
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating a range of concepts and executions across web, mobile, and marketing campaigns
  • Creative thinker and an eagle eye when it comes to the details
  • Ability to follow a copy guides across multiple internal brands and quickly pivot to the voice of an established brand
  • Strong understanding of how user data and user testing helps gain insight to the best copy solutions
  • Ability to pivot quickly and is comfortable with working cross-functionally with fast-paced internal teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of SEO copywriting
  • Has experience working with SEO, product and user experience teams

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Bash (formerly GigMasters), based in Norwalk, CT, is looking for a smart, passionate and experienced B2B Marketing Manager to conceptualize and create content, emails, messaging, and communications that meet the needs of our vendors, our brand, and our users. The right candidate is a high-energy, self-motivated individual who is passionate about helping event professionals do what they love for a living!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop the strategy and execution for B2B content including blogs, emails, webinars, videos, newsletters, and other resources that help to drive new prospects and improve member education & retention
  • Be an expert in creating, writing, and tracking call-to-action emails, promotional email campaigns, and email workflows to drive results, KPIs, and revenue
  • Work closely and support our Sales Team with talking points, sales scripts, value props, sell sheets, and more to help close leads to paying vendors
  • Create clear marketing hooks and value props for our products and services and turn those into incredibly effective product copy, talking points, marketing materials, FAQs, and more
  • Assist with lead generation initiatives, including working alongside our paid social & SEM team to brainstorm new ads, copy, and audiences to generate more prospects
  • Support the company rebrand initiatives including updating brand voice and visuals across our blog, emails, and more
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling copy and communications for internal and external talking points for vendors and party planners

SUCCESSFUL B2B MARKETING MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in content marketing and/or communications (fast-paced tech company a plus)
  • Exceptional, persuasive writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the demonstrated ability to write for and connect with small business owners (promotional copywriting a plus)
  • Detail-orientated, with high standards for brand, messaging, quality and consistency of content
  • High-performing self starter, with proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strategic, creative thinker with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface across multiple departments, while willing to balance personal achievement with group goals
  • Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems and provide creative solutions
  • Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook ads, Instagram ads, all a plus
  • Past experience in email marketing and marketing automation preferred (HubSpot a major plus)
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated track record of using communications to achieve specific goals
