ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a member of the WeddingWire.in Social Media team, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for the execution of WeddingWire.in’s consumer social media strategy.  You will take care of the social media team’s daily management of WeddingWire.in social media accounts - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.  The Social Media Executive will curate and schedule content, as well as monitor and analyze follower behavior and make recommendations on appropriate strategies to grow followers and engagement across WeddingWire.in’s channels. Key duties include shortlisting images from vendors’ social media accounts, developing content for posting, researching new channels, maintaining posting schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact (through phone, email, DMs) and build a good rapport with our vendor community (specially photographers and makeup artists) to source image and video content 
  • Evangelize WeddingWire.in among social media communities to engage with couples planning their weddings 
  • Create original content that builds meaningful connections and encourages follower engagement 
  • Engage with followers on a daily basis, participating in conversations that surround our content and brand 
  • Collaborate with the reporting manager on new campaign initiatives and exchange best practices 
  • Build WeddingWire.in’s awareness across all social media networks 
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to extract insights and communicate the risk, impact, and opportunities to members of the marketing team and beyond 
  • Manage and execute the annual social media calendar 
  • Constantly test new ideas and engage with our followers across all platforms 

SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE: 

  • Minimum 1 year of social media experience 
  • Demonstrated success with managing social media channels Facebook, Instagram 
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.  This includes knowing what type of content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform. 
  • Visual intelligence: Must have a “good eye” and identify visual content that will resonate with WeddingWire.in’s followers. 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects 
  • Web savvy and enjoys keeping up with new content-sharing technologies online 
  • Strong creative writing and communications skills 
  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism 
  • Proven ability to deliver results driving follower growth and engagement growth 
  • Excellent writing skills, copy/editing skills 
  • Understanding of videography, photography (editing on Photoshop, Canva, Over etc.) (desired, not mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, or Communications with a strong academic record (desired, not mandatory)

We’re looking for a talented graphic designer to join our fast-paced, in-house Creative Marketing team. This person will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing from copywriters to other designers to our internal marketing gurus to produce onbrand design that creates a joyful user experience and elevates our brands. The primary area of focus will be on our WeddingPro brand, with opportunities to design projects for our consumer brands and The Knot Worldwide company initiatives.

The ideal candidate would promote and practice user-centered design in creating deliverables across web, mobile, email, social platforms and occasionally print. The majority of the work will be digital, but this person must possess solid PRINT skills too.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work under the direction of the Creative Director and Senior Design Marketing Manager
  • Passionately maintain the look and feel of our brands’ visual style while finding new and exciting ways to expand our use of existing design elements
  • Work on projects that include but are not limited to Marketing campaigns, desktop and mobile web design, social media, and emails
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to help ensure that the strategic goals and objectives are met
  • Provide design production assistance to the rest of the team as needed

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide, a NYC-based lifestage technology and media company, seeks an outstanding, self-motivated, creative and resourceful individual for its Public Relations department. This individual will assist in crafting and executing impactful, measurable and noteworthy campaigns to drive awareness/engagement and support business goals for the company’s premier brands The Knot and WeddingWire. 

Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a PR agency and/or in-house PR team. Candidate must have excellent national and local media contacts, a record of success in developing and executing integrated PR and marketing programs, keen communication skills, and proven experience in writing pitches, talking points, briefing docs and press releases. This individual will work closely with the consumer and B2B marketing, editorial, social, research, product, sales and other teams on cross-functional initiatives. A love of writing and creative brainstorming are essential, and previous TV segment production and event planning experience is ideal. 

SUCCESSFUL PUBLICIST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 5 – 6 years of experience in a PR agency and/or in-house PR team 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful, integrated PR campaigns at a national level
  • Experience drafting press releases, media alerts, talking points, briefing docs, and other media assets
  • Strong relationships with tech and consumer outlets on both the local and national level
  • Strategic thinker as well as a doer who can think big picture but also roll up his or her sleeves to get the job done

The Knot Worldwide B2B Marketing team is seeking a Senior Manager of B2B Educational Content. The team works hard to help local wedding pros across the country succeed in weddings through industry-leading products, education, events, and support. We’re looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves Senior Manager that is curious, enthusiastic, creative, a problem solver and above all, a team player.  Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this dynamic role touches all aspects of our industry and has direct oversight over the WeddingPro education strategy, high-profile ambassador program, content, channels, and strategic industry partnerships. This role will be a key player, working closely with the marketing team to develop new engaging content and experiences that bring our brand to life and help wedding pros grow. This is an ideal fit for a strategic content marketer who wants to impact brand perception and loyalty for a leading global lifestyle brand and is passionate about community building, networking, education, small businesses, and anyone who aspires to launch their own wedding industry gig in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and successfully execute educational content program, activated through sold-out events, webinars, social, blog, sales support and more. Includes working closely with channel owners (Research Team, Events Team, marketing managers, etc) to bring the content to life.
  • Run influencer program (includes identifying influencers, developing a content strategy to highlight each unique pro, working with them all year long, and building on their relationships in the industry) to produce on-brand and high-quality educational content to grow our brand awareness and affinity across marketing channels.
  • Ongoing discovery of and building relationships with local and national associations to build strategic partnerships across the country and identify speaking and thought-leadership opportunities within. Manage the high performing team running our content channels.
  • Define and own success metrics tied to education, including sales revenue from events, social engagement, influencer program and association partnerships.
  • Oversee successful activation of educational content at event across the country.
  • Management of multiple employees, influencers, and contractors.
  • Learn new things. Seriously.   

SUCCESSFUL SR MANAGER, B2B EDUCATIONAL CONTENT CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience 
  • A passion for and demonstrated experience and executing a successful cross-channel content strategy
  • Experience managing a team of marketers
  • Ability to build influential industry relationships that will help to raise the level of our content
  • Customer Relationship/Engagement/Loyalty skillset
  • Experience consulting to small-medium sized businesses is a plus
  • Experience working in the wedding industry or directly with wedding pros preferred
  • Ability to build influential industry relationships that will help to raise the level of our content
  • Experience in event marketing production preferred, but not required
  • Effective multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Keynote, PowerPoint, and Slides skills
  • Excited to travel to local market events to engage with business partners and educate

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a member of the WeddingWire.in Social Media team, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for the execution of WeddingWire.in’s consumer social media strategy.  You will take care of the social media team’s daily management of WeddingWire.in social media accounts - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest.  The Social Media Executive will curate and schedule content, as well as monitor and analyze follower behavior and make recommendations on appropriate strategies to grow followers and engagement across WeddingWire.in’s channels. Key duties include shortlisting images from vendors’ social media accounts, developing content for posting, researching new channels, maintaining posting schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interact (through phone, email, DMs) and build a good rapport with our vendor community (specially photographers and makeup artists) to source image and video content 
  • Evangelize WeddingWire.in among social media communities to engage with couples planning their weddings 
  • Create original content that builds meaningful connections and encourages follower engagement 
  • Engage with followers on a daily basis, participating in conversations that surround our content and brand 
  • Collaborate with the reporting manager on new campaign initiatives and exchange best practices 
  • Build WeddingWire.in’s awareness across all social media networks 
  • Collect, aggregate, and analyze data to extract insights and communicate the risk, impact, and opportunities to members of the marketing team and beyond 
  • Manage and execute the annual social media calendar 
  • Constantly test new ideas and engage with our followers across all platforms 

SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE: 

  • Minimum 1 year of social media experience 
  • Demonstrated success with managing social media channels Facebook, Instagram 
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.  This includes knowing what type of content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platform. 
  • Visual intelligence: Must have a “good eye” and identify visual content that will resonate with WeddingWire.in’s followers. 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects 
  • Web savvy and enjoys keeping up with new content-sharing technologies online 
  • Strong creative writing and communications skills 
  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism 
  • Proven ability to deliver results driving follower growth and engagement growth 
  • Excellent writing skills, copy/editing skills 
  • Understanding of videography, photography (editing on Photoshop, Canva, Over etc.) (desired, not mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, or Communications with a strong academic record (desired, not mandatory)
  • Demonstrated success with managing social media channels - Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube (desired, not mandatory)
