ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

The Knot Worldwide (TKWW) is a global leader in the wedding and lifestage category, representing 19 brands across 16 countries. We are looking for a Brand Partnerships Manager who will work closely with the Brand Strategy & PR team to lead the development and execution of highly engaging, innovative partner marketing programs that fuel our growth.

 

This person will have a deep understanding of the partnership landscape and will be able to  expertly keep our brand at the center of culture through the implementation and execution of highly relevant partnerships and co-marketing initiatives. This person will be an experienced cross-functional player who can lead, guide and manage conversation aligned to program KPI’s. This person will also be familiar with a variety of marketing channels, tactics and measurement strategies that will help us maximize performance against our OKRs. 

You will report directly to the Director of Brand Strategy and Media in the Consumer Marketing department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Grow our awareness of couples and soon to be engaged prioritizing loved brands with strategic marketing plans that reach them in the right channels 
  • Help set a brand partnership strategy based on consumer marketing OKRs
  • Conduct in-depth research, and partner with insights team to conduct studies among engaged and pre-engaged audiences, to determine brand preferences, category whitespace/opportunities, topics of interest/trends etc to help inform strategy and targets
  • Conduct brainstorms with internal channel leads to determine co-marketing plan tactics timelines, and measurement approach 
  • Assess value and business impact of opportunities that inform recommendations   
  • Partner closely with Business Development & Merchandising teams to ensure business alignment 
  • Create partner pitch deck with our brand background and partnership opportunity
  • Produce briefs for all internal parties to kick off partner conversations and pitch partnership ideas across marketing department for buy-in and keep relevant parties informed 
  • Expand monetizable opportunities by commercializing consumer marketing initiatives that have partnership opportunities (earned or paid) to internal and external partners 
  • Own and manage partner relationships; run calls, determine next steps and follow up with relevant internal parties for additional information needed
  • Manage partnership negotiation, ensuring partner requirements provide level of promotion/opportunity/reach needed to reach our brand goals 
  • Partner with legal to draft co-promotional agreement including but not exclusive to rev share models and IP ownership
  • Field incoming partnership requests and determine scope of opportunity

SUCCESSFUL BRAND PARTNERSHIP MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in brand partnerships or planning role
  • Mastery of program execution + project management with an active interest in developing expertise in brand strategy. 
  • Ability to synthesize information to develop an understanding of key insights 
  • Proven experience executing innovative integrated marketing campaigns which achieve program goals
  • Experience consuming high volumes of marketing analytics and separating signal from noise.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet team output expectations
  • Comfort leading cross-functional teams and meetings. 
  • Outstanding written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

This individual will report into the Senior Director of Communications, and manage internal team members, lead cross-functional department committees, partner closely with the internal comms lead and be the go-to lead for managing the corporate team with an external PR agency. This Director will be accountable to execution of corporate comms initiatives that mitigate reputational risk, build awareness, enhance credibility and grow positive reputation of The Knot Worldwide, its brands and leaders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable, confident and poised working and interacting with senior leadership and executives, and will lead collaboration across departments on cross-functional initiatives. This individual will also develop and manage crisis communications, Corporate Social Responsibility and DEI initiatives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Establish a corporate communications and company reputation strategy for all company stakeholders: Employees, Investors, Consumers and Vendors; that elevates our company purpose &  mission.
  • Manage the crisis communications and escalation processes and procedures cross functionally in partnership with Leadership Teams ensuring rigor and discipline across departments and touch points. 
  • Develop and manage all internal processes to enhance global coordination and alignment of corporate communications activities to ensure consistency in corporate message, target retention and impact. 
  • Implement executive placement strategies, including speaking engagements, awards, and profiles, to successfully position The Knot Worldwide leadership as visionaries and thought leaders in the global tech & product industries.
  • Draft 360 communication plans for all business transaction related events, including: press materials, pitches, press releases, FAQs, reactive & proactive statements and message points.

Creative Director, US Creative Team

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a seasoned Creative Director to join our in-house Creative Team to lead creative strategy & execution across our suite of brands. Reporting directly to our Head of Global Creative, this person will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization (Marketing, Product, Editorial, and Sales), to craft, deliver, and iterate on our creative & campaign platforms.. We are looking for a true motivational leader, who believes in innovation and taking on complex creative challenges. A natural storyteller, collaborator, and leader, this candidate will be refining the development of creative materials, from concept to production, to drive engagement across multiple channels. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coaching and mentoring a team of copywriters and designers in achieving the highest possible standards appropriate for all materials, regardless of medium or platform
  • Leading innovative and conceptual solutions to address creative challenges, and drive our marketing strategy through brand storytelling
  • Managing projects from integrated campaigns to channel-specific production, that drive action, engagement, and retention from our audiences.
  • Ensuring all creative concepts and deliverables align with the creative brief and marketing strategy; always adhering to brand guidelines
  • Scheduling and facilitating creative reviews with key stakeholders to ensure direction and deliverables are in alignment with strategy and purpose
  • Working closely with partners across the organization to break down complex narratives into simple, performance-driven, designs

Successful Candidates Have:

  • 9+ years of experience working in an ACD or CD role in-house or at a creative agency 
  • 5+ years of management experience; leading a team of creatives is a must, leading a team of creatives virtually is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, especially on multiple brands at one time
  • Detailed understanding of design, copy, video, and digital best-practice guidelines
  • Ability to judge and guide writing and design work to develop concepts in all media 
  • Experience creating assets that drive emotional power and persuades action
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to produce strategically-led creative across multiple channels and integrated campaigns
  • The desire to build strong relationships across the organization and with external partners/agencies; demonstrates solid interpersonal and intrapersonal skills

Creative Director, US Creative Team

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a seasoned Creative Director to join our in-house Creative Team to lead creative strategy & execution across our suite of brands. Reporting directly to our Head of Global Creative, this person will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization (Marketing, Product, Editorial, and Sales), to craft, deliver, and iterate on our creative & campaign platforms.. Responsibilities:

Candidates must have a track record of generating positive results in consumer press and have a finger on the pulse of trends and interests of GenZ and Millennial audiences. Keen communication skills and proven experience in writing talking points, briefing docs, company messaging and press releases is a must. This individual will manage a junior team member and help with management of an external PR agency team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable and confident when interacting with senior leadership and company spokespeople, and will work closely with the partnerships, B2B marketing, integrated marketing, editorial, social, research and other teams on cross-functional initiatives. A love of writing and creative brainstorming are essential, and previous TV segment production and event planning experience is ideal.

The Knot Worldwide is in search of a Senior SEO Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring continued health and growth of our organic search rankings and traffic for our US brands, The Knot and WeddingWire US. This is a new role to the Growth & Acquisition Marketing team, and reports directly to the Director of SEO, U.S. The position will manage all facets of SEO including site structure, internal and external linking strategies, competitive analysis and keyword optimization. Over time, this role will take on additional responsibilities as it relates to other TKWW brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with The Knot and WeddingWire product management, the role will develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategy across both business units through these activities:

  • Develop new SEO strategies and tactics based on extensive analysis of our vast datasets
  • Create reports to support SEO requests, tests, forecasting, etc. 
  • Research and implement global SEO keyword strategies for key web properties, advancing keyword rankings in Google and other search engines.
  • Track organic rankings and traffic to key site sections by measuring keyword positions, search volume, and overall site visibility and ranking using Google Analytics and SEO tools
  • Conduct SEO content and site structure audits.
  • Help advance technical SEO best practices ranging from XML Sitemaps, page speed, crawl/server errors, Core Web Vitals, link analysis and clean-up, redirect implementation, and more.
  • Provide daily and monthly reporting of traffic performance and keyword rankings, and provide data-informed recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product teams on SEO UAT and post release monitoring. 
  • Maintain understanding of Google algorithm changes in order to quickly understand implications for the business and identify necessary changes to maintain growth.

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR SEO ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 5+ years experience in an SEO role with a focus on keyword research, content, and SEO best practices.
  • 5+ years direct experience developing comprehensive SEO strategies and performance-focused website content (editorial content for online media and lifestyles brands a big plus), accounting for search volume, user intent, content categories, business units, competitive landscape, and more.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance.
  • Strong organizational, communication, written and analytical skills.
  • Expert in Google Search Console and technical SEO requirements.
  • Experience with web analytics programs (Google Analytics preferred) and SEO applications (Conductor Searchlight, DeepCrawl, Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, e.g.)

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

Working with the Global SEO team, the SEO specialist will execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies for WeddingWire India through these various activities and planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and implement SEO keyword strategies for our web property(ies), advancing keyword rankings and outperforming competitors in Google and other search engines.
  • Conduct SEO content and technical audits across multiple open source and in-house applications.
  • Help advance technical SEO best practices ranging from XML Sitemaps, page speed, crawl/server errors, link analysis and clean-up, redirect implementation, and more.
  • Provide weekly/ monthly/ ad-hoc reporting of traffic performance and keyword rankings.
  • Daily involvement in web analytics, including monitoring results of projects, locating problem areas and their causes and providing recommendations based on findings.
  • Collaborate with product, editorial, and marketing stakeholders in planning meetings and discussions.
  • Gauge opportunities and implement SEO in vernacular languages
  • Provide best practices for new pages, redesigns, taxonomies, and migrations.
  • Stay up-to-date on SEO updates, trends and their respective impact on our metrics
  • Train the business on SEO best practices.

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR SEO CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 3-6 years experience in an SEO role (preferably in the internet/ consumer tech domain) with a focus on keyword research, content, and SEO best practices.
  • Proven experience growing traffic/ search engine ranking for web properties. 
  • Experience with Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and technical SEO requirements.
  • Understanding of basic HTML, CSS as it relates to SEO.
  • Experience with Google Analytics - certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SEO applications (Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, e.g.).
  • Basic working knowledge of MySQL, Google Sheets, Excel will have an advantage
  • A passion for SEO and an ongoing drive to learn, understand and implement white-hat techniques.
  • Excellent drive, reliability, and cross-departmental collaboration, with strong problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

The Senior Manager, Integrated Brand Planning & Analysis is responsible for end-to-end ownership of major integrated consumer marketing programs achieve their core goals and KPIs. The ideal candidate will combine experience leading best-in-class integrated omni-channel marketing campaigns with a passion for leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights across a wide variety of metrics to improve messaging breakthrough and performance. They have deep knowledge about what motivates the consumer. They are curious about the wedding planning journey, and how to get the right message in front of couples at the right moment. 

Primary responsibilities include ideation, execution & analysis of cross-functional execution of major initiatives and integrated campaigns, ensuring synchronous and asynchronous alignment across key stakeholders, harvesting insights on program performance and deploying them within the process to help our internal and external partners succeed against our objectives. They will also support the Associate Director,  Integrated Brand Planning & Analysis on the development of new brand strategies and positioning through the execution of macro analysis of the broader consumer landscape as well as tactical analysis of competitor initiatives. Finally, they will support the broader Brand Strategy group in packaging key initiatives for consumption by audiences at all levels of the organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ideate, own and execute key cross-channel integrated consumer initiatives as well as culturally-relevant and targeted campaigns that complement global program goals and overall brand position. Own initial planning of our Q3 Integrated Campaign.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment between campaign stakeholders on messaging and business goals by leading regular touchpoints with internal + external partners to Consumer Marketing. 
  • Create and maintain briefing documents, trackers and project plans to support continuous asynchronous alignment on actions toward the achievement of campaign KPIs 
  • Optimize performance of always-on and tactical programs by ensuring dissemination of key insights captured during in-campaign and post-campaign analysis 
  • Brief in new initiatives and partner with creative teams and channel leads on the execution of messaging testing within consumer campaigns 
  • Ensure key brand positioning elements are fully considered and incorporated into consumer communications 
  • Leverage business and media data to optimize integrated campaign performance to achieve or exceed program goals 
  • Aid in tracking and connecting consumer insights, historical performance, cultural and competitive trends that may lead to future campaign opportunities  
  • Experience working on campaigns that utilize key consumer marketing channels, including but not limited to brand media, content, organic social, paid performance marketing  & PR, as well as lifecycle channels such as email + on-site promotion. 
  • Identify key campaign and brand insights to elevate to the attention of senior stakeholders
  • Contribute to calendar, program and positioning ideation through tracking of the cultural landscape, competitor marketing & consumer trends and harvesting of insights through analyses + research projects 
  • Create processes and documentation to publish partnerships and marketing initiatives for internal teams such as GMS and Sales, as well as provide ad-hoc support building presentations for Senior Leadership

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years in integrated marketing program management
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own program ideation + execution 
  • Comfort producing presentations for a broad range of internal audiences, including Senior Leadership Team
  • A passion for and comfort with project management and organization 
  • Facility with broad cross-functional communication and ensuring that strategy is digested at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to synthesize information to develop an understanding of key insights 
  • Proven experience executing innovative integrated marketing campaigns which achieve program goals
  • Experience consuming high volumes of marketing analytics and separating signal from noise.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet team output expectations
  • Comfort leading cross-functional teams and meetings. 
  • Outstanding written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
