You will join our Creative Services team for a short term contract (3-6 months), and will work closely alongside a designer and web operations specialist to build out digital marketing collateral across various platforms for TKWW and our many brands. This person will be the company expert in managing email campaigns and journeys in Pardot and will need to educate teams on Pardot best practices and capabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As a member of our in-house creative services team, the Senior Videographer & Editor will be responsible for shooting and editing content to bring to life The Knot Worldwide’s brands through impact stories & product, and devise new ways to engage, educate, and inspire our communities during life’s major milestones.  We are looking for a storyteller who will help us tell rich, engaging, inspiring stories and is comfortable serving as a lead camera person, editor and motion graphics artist. A strong work ethic, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude are all necessities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee video content creation, partnering with teams across the organization to create, curate and manage video content.
  • Collaborate with teams to brainstorm and ensure a successful strategy, creative approach and KPI to success through each video produced
  • Produce, film and edit videos and motion graphics to support marketing team needs (brand videos, talent and recruiting, corporate initiatives, case studies, client testimonials, research and insight, sales collateral, and much more)
  • Be responsible for our YouTube Channels and deliver success by developing engaging video series to our community audiences
  • Along with video team leads, manage video requests and help establish project timelines
  • Adapt schedules and projects accordingly in a fast-paced, flexible work environment with multiple organizational priorities
  • Work to streamline the editing and shooting process to create an efficient and seamless process from the beginning of a project to completion
  • Constantly test new ideas and video formats that will engage key audiences across all relevant platforms
  • Stay current on industry and video news and trends
  • Innovate to push the boundaries of telling short stories

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR VIDEO PRODUCER & EDITOR CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • At least 5 years of video production experience, including commensurate or additional years of experience with digital video cameras, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder and video compression/upload in FLV, MP4 and MOV or AVI.
  • Experience creating engaging videos to be distributed on social channels (Especially YouTube and Instagram)
  • Project management experience and can take a project (or individual video) from start to finish.
  • Creativity with a wealth of fun, creative ideas
  • Solid understanding of translating brand personality into video
  • Relentless drive to create the best work possible
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
  • Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Strong ability to script, storyboard, and plan shot sequences
  • Proven understanding of best practices and tools used in video production and asset management
  • Strong motion graphics and title design expertise with an acute eye for detail
  • Solid foundation in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Strong visual skills, including an eye for good lighting, shot composition, and use of color
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and communicate progress and expected milestones.
  • Any combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described. A typical qualifying background would include completion of a program of film study at an accredited institution or comparable practical experience.
