The smart and fast-paced Corporate Recruiter (you!) will identify and hire amazing talent for our tech teams.  The Corporate Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to create comprehensive interview plans and meet aggressive hiring goals across The Knot Worldwide’s Engineering, Product and Design teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and key stakeholders to determine business needs
  • Source relevant profiles through multiple active and passive channels
  • Conduct screening and skills assessment, qualify candidates and provide recommendations to the hiring manager; Use additional parameters like skillset and culture
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience

  • Compose, monitor and maintain job postings on various job portals

SUCCESSFUL CORPORATE RECRUITER CANDIDATES HAVE:

Responsibilities 

  • Dream up, plan and execute on amazing culture and engagement programming with local Events Committees including by not limited to: determining event details, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, ordering supplies, set up, and break down
  • Serve as the liaison for Community Groups assisting in recruitment efforts, event management and initiative execution 
  • Optimize and ensure successful execution of employee onboarding, orientation sessions, and activities in the NY office
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on the Summer Intern program across US offices: coordinate with all stakeholders for executing programs/events, including presenters, office operations teams, intern outings with partner companies, and hiring managers
  • Partner with the Benefits team on our wellness program and supporting activities, learning sessions and additional perks 
  • Work closely with Internal Communications to ensure successful development of weekly communications via newsletters and intranet pages

  • Collaborate with Learning and Development team on our mentorship program design and implementation, matching process, and training sessions

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Executive Assistant at The Knot WorldWide enables the success of our teams through organization, coordination and administrative support of the Executive Team in our Chevy Chase, MD office, specifically the CEO and CFO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to calendar and meeting management, arranging domestic and international travel, meeting and event planning, and general administrative support. The Executive Assistant is expected to know and understand the Executives for whom they will provide support, anticipate their needs and proactively provide assistance that will enable their ability to execute with high velocity. The organized and experienced Executive Assistant (you!) will help coordinate logistics, balance multiple priorities at once, and enable our executives to be more effective.  You will coordinate and execute scheduling and logistics that will drive broader team connectivity. You will work closely with a Global Leadership Team and other key business partners and report to the Associate Director, Office Experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

This would mean supporting our Executives from the Legal, People, Accounting, Finance and Registry teams. This role isn’t just about the tactics; it’s about delivering rich HR programs within the GA organizations and guiding leadership on the value of a strong business partner model and talent management imperatives. As an HRBP, you will be “the face of HR” to these organizations, building strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

The HR Business Partner will wear many hats and work at both the strategic and tactical level. You will be constantly innovating, implementing change, building scalable models, and trying to develop your organization while retaining top talent. You will be involved in the entire employee life cycle for your organization which will present a wide range of responsibility and opportunity to positively impact the GA functions. This includes but is not limited to onboarding assistance, employee relations, coaching, performance management, merit and promotions, and employee exits.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Talent Management, you will partner closely with business leaders to understand the broader strategic objectives and determine relevant talent management strategies that drive performance, promote the culture and make TKWW a great place to work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include; executing HR objectives, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, talent planning/workforce analysis, learning and development and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the organization strategic goals, product & service offerings, revenue models and key initiatives
  • Partner with GA organizations to execute human capital strategy in line with business objectives
  • Develop effective relationships with leaders within the GA Teams to provide coaching and influence matters relating to People with both new Managers to Sr. Leaders
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of changes on employees, HR systems, and operations
  • Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights and proactively convert these insights into recommendations. Collaborate with business leaders to design organizational structures, job roles and talent management processes to drive organizational strategy and meet business objectives
  • Partner with HR Operations team to ensure execution of all human resources operations within the GA Teams including HR Operations, Immigration, Recruiting and HRIS
  • Determine appropriate reports, dashboards, etc. to support client groups
  • Act as the primary point of contact and HR advisor to employees in client group on human resources topics
  • Partner with GA Teams on all employee relations matters including adherence to policy, grievances, voluntary and involuntary terminations. Work collaboratively with business leaders and legal partners to develop and execute resolution strategies
  • Advise on all performance management concerns within the GA Teams; Provide expertise related to performance management
  • Provide guidance on reorganization decisions including appropriate structure and role design for optimal business performance, talent planning, and management, and change management activities
  • Builds, recommends, and implements new initiatives from beginning to finish with minimal assistance or support

 SUCCESSFUL HR BUSINESS PARTNER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Minimum qualifications include a BA or BS degree
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required
  • Previous experience as a Human Resource Generalist with a strong understanding of general HR concepts, practices, and compliance
  • 5-7 years of People-related experience, preferably in a high-growth technology organizations
  • Proven expertise in developing partnerships with senior management and influencing key business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong business acumen, sound judgment, professional and personal integrity, initiative and flexibility, combined with solid analytical and problem-solving skills

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

We are looking for a qualified, HR Business Partner, that will focus on two primary strategic initiatives for our organization. The first key part of this role will be to oversee all HR topics associated with our Technology and Product functions, and ensure they’re aligned with our business goals, partnering closely with our CTO and CPO as well as their leadership teams. Equally as important, this role will reach outside of the Technology and Product functions and interact with employees at all levels, across all teams, in our NY office. You will be known as the “go-to” on the ground HR resource in the NY office and will therefore provide geo-support to all teams that reside there (even outside of your main client group). You will partner closely with the HRBP’s for other teams and involve them as appropriate on matters related to their client groups.

Our ideal candidates should have solid experience with HR practices and client group management. You will communicate with Executives and with senior managers to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budget limitations and our company culture. You also have a strong background working in fast-paced technology companies and are familiar with Software Engineer and Product Manager’s profiles and know what makes them tick!

As a member of the Talent Management Team, you will play a key role in HR-related initiatives, including but not limited to learning & development, performance management, and HR metrics. This role is responsible for helping design, build, and deliver talent management programs that will promote employee engagement, drive high levels of performance, retain top talent, and create a unique employee experience to positively impact business results. 

This role will operate at both a strategic and tactical level. It is about delivering rich, scalable HR programs within your assigned client groups and guiding leadership on the value of a strong business partner and talent management practices. You will be tasked with building strong relationships with employees at all levels in the organization. You will be involved with the entire employee life cycle for your client groups which provides responsibility and opportunity to positively impact the team.

Ultimately, you should be able to act as a consultant on human resources management and organizational changes. This position will partner closely with Talent Brand, Talent Acquisition, and key stakeholders cross-functionally to ensure the development and advancement of an empowered values-driven culture, and proactively plan for and address organizational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide senior-level HR leadership in our NY office, with high influence and involvement in shaping morale, culture, and office norms. Consult with all management levels and provide daily HR guidance. 
  • Execute HR objectives while maintaining a deep understanding of the organization’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide guidance on organizational structures, job roles and design for optimal business performance, and talent management planning and processes to drive organizational strategy
  • Advise on positive change management activities 
  • Think with a Global mindset and work with Executives and HRBP’s globally as needed
  • Partner with HR Operations team to ensure compliant execution of all HR operations within your client groups including immigration, Total Rewards, and more
  • Partner with your client group’s business leaders and manage all employee relations matters including adherence to policy, grievances, voluntary and involuntary terminations. Work collaboratively with business leaders and legal partners to develop and execute resolution strategies, escalating as appropriate. 
  • Strategize, advise, and oversee strong performance management practices with your business leaders, remaining aligned with the Talent Management Team’s goals and objectives. 
  • Manage employee exit and onboarding processes consistent with our standard operating procedures
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of change on employees, HR systems, and operations
  • Determine appropriate reports, dashboards, etc. to support client groups
  • Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights and proactively convert into recommendations.
  • Build, recommend, and implement new initiatives from beginning to finish with minimal assistance or support. 
  • Regular travel (about 25%) to multiple offices where your stakeholders are located: Washington, D.C. and Austin, TX.

SUCCESSFUL HR BUSINESS PARTNER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or a related field
  • SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP certification required
  • 7+  years of direct HR-related experience 
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-growth technology organization, specifically working with technology and product teams and Executives
  • Prior experience as an HR Business Partner and HR Generalist with a strong understanding of general HR concepts, practices, and compliance
  • Experience in leading change in a highly-complex organization undergoing significant transformation
  • Experience working with remote colleagues and global HR counterparts 
  • Proven expertise in developing partnerships with senior management and influencing key business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at both strategic and tactical levels

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the HR Business Partners on the Talent Management Team. This role will play a key function in providing administrative support as well as tactical execution. Your role will require you to wear many hats and will be far from one-dimensional. You will undertake a wide range of HR tasks from organizing trainings, coordinating with our Total Rewards team, and ensuring compliance with our existing practices while helping make suggestions on how to improve them! You will be a point person for on the ground HR support in our Austin, TX office. You will partner closely not just with Talent Management, but also with our Employee Experience, Office Experience, Talent Acquisition, and payroll teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act in a highly accessible shared service role, partnering with all areas of HR and other internal clients
  • Assist in coordinating and organizing learning and development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees and HR Business Partners in various HR-related topics such as employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, policy creation, dissemination and compliance, and more.  
  • Provide support specifically to the Sales HR Business Partner on an ad hoc basis. This is the largest organization and where day-to-day assistance will be needed the most.
  • Maintain and audit all job descriptions and exemption status regularly.
  • Create and modify Powerpoint and Google Presentations to create visually appealing, branded decks for stakeholders
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict free workplace
  • Manage documentation of all HR standard operating procedures, partnering with the Talent Management Team to record best practices and processes as they’re developed with your assistance
  • Ensure compliance with all Labor regulations
  • Manage Labor regulation signage in various office locations across the US

SUCCESSFUL HR GENERALIST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • ~2 years direct experience in HR
  • Strong understanding of general HR compliance and legislation
  • Good knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Excellent skills in PowerPoint and the Google Suite required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Aptitude in problem solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • General comprehension of Sales and Business Operations and terminology
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist, Coordinator, or Administrator preferred
  • Prior HRIS experience is a plus
