ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

Reporting  to  the  EVP  of  Global  People,  you  will  be  a  highly  visible,  influential  leader, helping TKWW leaders make great decisions on talent. You will lead a team  of  HR  pros  and  become  a  business  champion  to  ensure  The  Knot  Worldwide is maximizing its most important investment, our people!  

Through a consultative approach, you will strive ​to create an irresistible place to work  through  the  design,  build,  and  implementation  of  strategic,  purposeful  people initiatives ​including ​diversity​, ​equity ​and ​inclusion (DEI)​, ​learning ​& development  (L&D)  and  hold  primary  responsibility  for  ​strategic  talent  management​ effectiveness through the HR Business Partner model.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will architect the strategic talent management vision and structure building programs in support of The Knot Worldwide’s growth strategy and objectives.
  • You will design, build and execute our diversity, equity and inclusion programming both internally and externally to make TKWW a global leader in this critical area.
  • You will lead a team of HR Business Partners, Learning & Development and Employee Experience professionals - all of which are critical underpinnings to our Employee Engagement strategy.
  • You will collaborate with the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams to further enhance the TKWW talent strategy.
  • Instill consistent and data-driven people management practices while ensuring secure, safe, compliant, and values-centric workplace standards.
  • You will identify and drive KPIs for Talent Management, Learning & Development, and Employee Experience teams.
  • You will lead and manage a team of HR professionals across 5 domestic offices responsible for day-to-day talent management initiatives executing through the HR Business Partner model.
  • You will ensure that engagement is measured and spearhead the development of frameworks that reinforce our core values, including transparency, humility and diversity
  • Support performance and development at individual, team, and company levels through a variety of programs and initiatives—including skill development rubrics, creative career pathing, learning & development programming, and talent management

SUCCESSFUL VP, PEOPLE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 15+ years of HR leadership experience with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, strategic talent management and employee learning in a high growth environment
  • Motivational leader with a growth mindset who can set and clearly articulate the tea​m mission and vision
  • A history of managing, leading, and evolving high-performing people-first organizations through rapid growth; including solid people management and leadership experience
  • An impeccable attention to detail, a supreme standard of output, and demonstrated ability to communicate proactively and with purpose
  • Flexibility and an appetite to challenging status quo, take risks, and push the innovation envelope when it comes to strategic vision and leadership
  • Highest levels of empathy in your leadership approach
  • A strong ability to recruit, grow, develop, and retain exceptional people talent
  • Strong capacity to prioritize--this role has endless opportunities, but you’ll be responsible for focusing our efforts
  • Working knowledge of HR laws and regulations, especially those related to diversity, equity and inclusion
