ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), matrixed into the President, International, you will be a highly visible, influential leader, helping our leaders make great decisions on our international talent. Highly collaborative with US HR leadership and part of the Global People Leadership Team, you will be responsible for executing global HR strategies through the People function for the International teams. You will lead a team of HR professionals supporting employees across three continents, specifically in countries including: Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, India and China. 

The Knot Worldwide is maximizing its most important investment, our people! With a consultative approach, you will guide the business and senior leaders on people initiatives including strategic talent management guidance, aligning global people operations, learning and development, employee and office experience and internal communications. As a culture champion, you will promote and foster a unique, positive employee experience, and transform the International People team into an HR powerhouse. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will proactively implement global HR strategies and support international managers and senior leaders in people-related matters 
  • You will partner with the US HR Leadership to develop, implement and assess HR systems and processes.
  • You will partner with the Global Talent Acquisition leader on international recruitment and selection execution.
  • You will build HR capacity within the countries in which we employee people partnering with country leaders to address country-specific HR challenges.
  • You will proactively provide updates to tools and resources for our international teams, contribute and/or deliver program design initiatives , build leadership capacity and enhance our Global HR practices.
  • You will proactively promote a workplace culture of cross-cultural communication, including actively seeking out new perspectives and ideas, contributing to the diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • You will identify and drive KPIs for the international HR support teams.
  • You will lead and manage a team of HR professionals supporting employees across 13 international locations, responsible for day-to-day talent management initiatives executing through the HR Business Partner model. 
  • You will lead the Employee and Office Experience teams and Internal communications for the international teams.
  •  You will ensure that employee engagement is measured and spearhead the development of frameworks that reinforce our core values. 
  • You will support the development and regular revision of Employee Handbooks in assigned countries and ensure adherence of country labor regulations.

SUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL HEAD OF HR CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 12+ years of HR experience with a focus on strategic talent management in a high growth environment
  • Seasoned expertise in leading teams across multiple continents

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The HR Solutions Specialist will support our team of HRBPs and partner with colleagues across the People Team to execute scalable initiatives that support TKWW’s goals and values. Your trend research, analysis, and reporting will enable HRBPs to drive innovation and execute well informed people strategy. You know how to have fun and want to be on a highly supportive team that celebrates each other and the positive impact we have. You anticipate the needs of your team, have a pulse on the organization, and deliver solutions that support the flawless execution of key people processes and initiatives across the organization. 

We are open to this role being based out of our Washington, DC office location or fully remote and may be performed anywhere in the United States, except for in the state of Colorado.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • You support our team of HRBPs, providing assistance, reporting, tracking, and support in the flawless execution of People Team initiatives
  • You provide initiative support to HRBP’s including spreadsheet and deck creation, departmental communication, and execution logistics
  • You will lead post initiative learnings to capture feedback and provide relevant insights to the People Team, so we can drive improvements 
  • You partner with HRBPs to ensure DEI framework is embedded into key programs and processes and use DEI metrics to inform strategy
  • You assist HRBP’s with employee lifecycle processes, conduct overtime reporting, track and help facilitate performance management processes, and assist HRBPs with COVID leave tracking
  • You compile and provide reports and data for the HRBPs, analyzing and interpreting data and trends as needed to provide input into business strategy
  • You execute trend research to provide market insight, drive innovation, and identify emerging needs
  • You provide HR support to employees, escalating to HRBPs when necessary
  • You create awareness and drive employee usage of our company intranet to self-navigate common hr-related matters

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

We are looking for an energetic and eager Legal Intern to join the Company’s global legal team for The Knot Worldwide’s Summer 2021 Internship Program.  The Legal Intern (you!) will gain exposure to the various aspects of a global corporate legal department, including contract review and negotiation, legal research, intellectual property, data privacy, employment, compliance, and more. We are a highly collaborative team, so you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with the entire US Legal Team. The role would be for 40 hours per week (based approximately on East Coast hours) for a 9 week period.

This position is open to candidates who would like to work fully remote and may be performed anywhere in the United States, except for in the state of Colorado.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Working with our attorneys and paralegal on domestic and international legal matters such as corporate law, data privacy, employment law, compliance, and disputes
  • Working with our business groups to understand and find efficient, practical solutions to their legal requirements
  • Reviewing and helping to negotiate client, partner and vendor agreements and developing and maintaining legal agreement templates
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects by researching legal issues and regulatory developments and preparing summaries of research
  • Participating as team members in large projects such as corporate transactions and financings, litigation, or other large projects as those events occur
  • Performing other appropriate duties and special projects as needed

SUCCESSFUL LEGAL INTERN CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience at an ABA accredited U.S. law school
  • Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize workload and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Have strong analytical and organizational skills and be detailed-oriented
  • Be self-motivated and have the ability to work with varying levels of supervision
  • Fluency in a foreign language, particularly Spanish, a plus!
