ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled, energetic, and entrepreneurial attorney to join the Company’s global legal team and provide cross-regional legal support on a wide range of matters. This attorney must be eager to work in all areas of in-house practice and understand business needs whilst ensuring legal necessities are adequately reflected at the same time. Law firm and in-house experience are required; experience leading other team members is a plus. This person will be heavily involved with day-to-day company matters and policies, working together with the Operational teams of the company.  

The ideal candidate will have experience with technology companies, think like a businessperson with legal skills, thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy frequent interaction with people across all areas of the company. This is a great opportunity for an attorney to grow professionally and build a broad set of in-house skills at a company that is going places. 

Your main field of action will cover jurisdictions across the company’s different operating regions. Your position will be based in our office in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), and you will work closely with all members of the legal team based both in Spain and the US. You will report to our VP Legal International, who is based in Spain.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex vendor, supplier, and consultant agreements, including those for enterprise-wide software and technology implementations, facilities-related agreements, and non-disclosure agreements under Spanish and US law. 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of customer and partner contracts to support the company’s global business units.
  • Be responsible for compliance with relevant laws & regulations and provide advice on any legal and compliance questions.
  • Become a real business partner to the operational teams of the Company (CX, UX, Ops, Communications, Editorial)
  • Lead and drive legal and compliance projects in cross-disciplinary teams, including providing legal policy creation and support on promotions and sweepstakes, insurance, trademarks, and collections.
  • Assist with the growth of our legal operations function, including contract management, procurement operations, and other areas.  Assist with the implementation of enterprise software that either directly supports or touches on the legal team.
  • Be an active part in the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures and training on a variety of legal, regulatory and business matters.
  • Draft, revise, and assist in the management of the company’s form agreements and policies. 
  • Research and deliver advice on how to manage legal and compliance risk and report the risks to our stakeholders
  • Perform other tasks as necessary to ensure that legal and compliance meets its commitments to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local leadership and other strategic partners 
  • Work with other lawyers and the internal stakeholders to support the Company’s business development. 
  • Help the company prepare for future growth.

 

SUCCESSFUL COUNSEL CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Qualification as Spanish lawyer with the ability to practice in-house in Spain and for a global company.
  • 8+ years of combined relevant legal experience in a law firm and an in-house legal department, including demonstrable experience with the majority of Responsibilities listed above.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of how a Legal function can support the Company and its business.
  • Strong ownership, curiosity and drive.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Works well with others in a team environment.
  • Experience preparing / revising internal templates, policies, guides, and similar knowledge management documents, and taking responsibility for document management
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; similarly, be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills and be detailed-oriented.
  • Strong and effective document drafting and negotiating skills with excellent oral and written communication skills both in Spanish and English.
  • Fluency in English (particularly with negotiating and drafting legal agreements in English) required. Fluency in another foreign language is a plus!

The Office Experience Coordinator is a service-oriented individual and responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience to both our external and internal teams. You will play a key strategic role in aiding our return to office plan in addition to managing all office vendor relationships and operational projects. In the office, you will also be managing the lobby area, delivering great first impressions and welcoming guests. We are looking for a positive self-starter who is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and is deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support.

This role is considered essential and required to be in our India office 5 days a week, supporting our local team. 

The individual will be a highly organized and personable HR professional, able to manage multiple internal stakeholders and competing priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in research all aspects pertaining to return to office, keeping in compliance with local government guidance 
  • Actively reach out to vendors for competitive pricing and negotiating to ensure we keep within budget 
  • Point of contact for India specific questions regarding return to office
  • Coordinate one-on-one access to office as new hires start
  • Manage any employee questions brought to your attention
  • Maintain conference room cleanliness
  • Escalate requests to manager when needed
  • Assists with vendor management alongside the Office Experience team and our HR partners on site. This includes but is not limited to: coffee station management, office supplies ordering, storage management, and more
  • Greets all visitors and provides a white glove experience to all guests and manages incoming guest list daily
  • Creates New Hire swag bags, name tags, orientation schedules, ID badges and Candidate Interview Folders
  • Manages Guest ID badges that are checked out each day and ensures they’re accounted for or deactivated at close of business each day
  • Contributes to and updates the office supplies regularly while adhering to the budget
  • Assist with internal events including but not limited to: set up, break down, calendar management, catering
  • Responsible for post COVID-19 return to office tasks (TBD)
  • Helps with overall Office Experience team needs
  • Support engagement events and community team

SUCCESSFUL ADMIN EXPERIENCE CANDIDATES HAVE:

    • Are able and willing to work in the office. This person will be considered an essential employee and therefore must be in office everyday. 
  • 2-3 years of office support experience
  • Have impeccable customer service - we are fantastic ambassadors!
  • Have excellent skills in Word, Google Calendar, and G-Suite (excel a plus!)

The Sr. People Manager will wear many hats and work at both the strategic and tactical level. You will be involved in the entire employee life cycle for your organization which will present a wide range of responsibility and opportunity to positively impact the organization. This includes but is not limited to onboarding assistance, employee relations, coaching, performance management, merit and promotions, employee exits and relations with unions.

Reporting to the People Director for Europe, you will partner closely with business leaders to understand the broader strategic objectives and determine relevant HR strategies that drive performance, promote the culture and make TKWW a great place to work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include executing HR policies and processes, objectives, employee relations, performance management, compensation planning, talent planning/workforce analysis, learning and development and organizational effectiveness initiatives. You will also take care of all work council and unions’ matters ensuring a good relationship with them to achieve business results while taking care of employees’ interests.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the organization strategic goals, product & service offerings, revenue models and key initiatives
  • Partner with leaders to execute human capital strategy in line with business objectives
  • Develop effective relationships with leaders to provide coaching and influence matters relating to People with both new Managers to Sr. Leaders
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of changes on employees, HR systems, and operations
  • Analyze a broad range of HR data to identify valid insights and proactively convert these insights into recommendations. Collaborate with business leaders to design organizational structures, job roles and talent management processes to drive organizational strategy and meet business objectives
  • Determine appropriate reports, dashboards, etc. to support client groups
  • Act as the primary point of contact and People advisor to employees in countries on human resources topics
  • Partner on all employee relations matters including adherence to policy, grievances, voluntary and involuntary terminations. Work collaboratively with business leaders and legal partners to develop and execute resolution strategies
  • Advise on all performance management concerns; Provide expertise related to performance management
  • Provide guidance on reorganization decisions including appropriate structure and role design for optimal business performance, talent planning, and management, and change management activities
  • Builds, recommends, and implements new initiatives from beginning to finish with minimal assistance or support

 SUCCESSFUL Sr. PEOPLE MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Minimum qualifications include a BA or BS degree in Human Resources or related
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred but not required
  • Previous experience as a Human Resource Generalist with a strong understanding of general HR concepts, practices, and compliance
  • 5-7 years of People-related experience, preferably in a high-growth technology organization
  • Proven expertise in developing partnerships with senior management and influencing key business decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage human resources at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong business acumen, sound judgment, professional and personal integrity, initiative, and flexibility, combined with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Assertive, high energy, independent, results-oriented demeanor, and a strong drive to succeed
  • You are a builder, deeply motivated to impact positive change

  • Previous, demonstrated experience (5-7) years as a Human Resources Business Partner with a strong understanding of general HR concepts, practices, compliance along with a degree in a relevant area of study; it is also a bonus if you hold an additional HR certification, and/or have worked within a high growth technology environment.
  • Proven expertise in developing partnerships and cultivating relationships with senior management to influence key business decisions.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of strategic and tactical HR practices in India
  • A strong business acumen, sound judgment, professional and personal integrity, a proactive nature coupled with flexibility and analytical mind that craves the opportunity to problem solve.
