ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Office Experience Coordinator is a service-oriented individual and responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience to both our external and internal teams. You will play a key strategic role in aiding our return to office plan (for post COVID-19 or when deemed safe) in addition to managing all office vendor relationships and operational projects. Once we return to office, you will also be managing the lobby area, delivering great first impressions and welcoming guests. We are looking for a positive self-starter who is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and is deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pre-Return to Office:

  • Research all aspects pertaining to return to office, keeping in compliance with local government guidance 
  • Assist with the shut down of existing office space as lease expires
  • Actively reach out to vendors for competitive pricing and negotiating to ensure we keep within budget 
  • Support move of warehouse space
  • Assist with the setup of new warehouse space
  • Point of contact for Omaha specific questions regarding return to office
  • Coordinate one-on-one access to office as new hires start
  • Misc. projects as assigned by Associate Director, Office Experience

Post Return to Office:

  • Prioritize manning the front desk and does not leave the front desk unattended
  • Manage any employee questions brought to your attention
  • Maintain the front desk and reception conference room cleanliness
  • Restock kitchens in office
  • Escalate requests to manager when needed
  • Assists with vendor management alongside Associate Director, Office Experience and our HR partners on site. This includes but is not limited to: coffee station management, office supplies ordering, and more
  • Helps as an administrator for the LiveSafe safety app and is well-versed in how to use it
  • Manages internal powerpoint for office space with open positions, birthdays and anniversaries each week
  • Helps support Google calendars and is an administrator to assist with booking needs for all employees as well as recruiting interviews
  • Greets all visitors and provides a white glove experience to all guests and manages incoming guest list daily
  • Creates New Hire swag bags, name tags, orientation schedules, ID badges and Candidate Interview Folders
  • Manages Guest ID badges that are checked out each day and ensures they’re accounted for or deactivated at close of business each day
  • Contributes to and updates the office supplies regularly while adhering to the budget
  • Assist with internal events including but not limited to: set up, break down, calendar management, catering

SUCCESSFUL OFFICE EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR CANDIDATES:

  • Are able and willing to return to working in the office once the company has determined it to be safe and essential. This person will be considered an essential employee and therefore must be in office once we return
  • Are fantastic ambassadors and have impeccable customer service
  • Have knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Calendar, and G-Suite
  • Thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
  • Are strong communicators and able to articulate ideas in an organized concise manner with strong written and verbal skills
  • Have the desire to innovate, identify problems and find creative solutions
  • Are enthusiastic with the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
  • Have the ability to work independently, be resourceful and find solutions but also knows when to escalate problems that may arise
  • Have strong organizational skills

The People Team is looking to add a talented Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join our team and design, build and oversee our internal Learning and Development program, The Knot Worldwide University. In this mission-critical, highly consultative role, you act as a liaison between our executives, directors, and managers. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People, this high-impact position requires a leader with the experience, energy, and discipline to drive change programs in a highly matrixed environment. This person will also be responsible for incorporating a strong Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion focus in all learning programs, in addition to designing programs specifically tied to our organization’s DEI commitments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with management across the organization to analyze the training needs of specific departments, cross-functional areas, or the whole organization and make recommendations for training solutions as part of the L&D life cycle
  • Develop new company-wide, department-specific, and job-specific learning curricula following a consistent framework for all classes/guidelines for training methodology
  • Design programs specifically tied to our organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commitments
  • Establish and monitor key metrics and report on the business impact and ROI of learning and development across the organization
  • Identify required tools and systems to effectively inventory, manage and facilitate learning programs  
  • Program management including planning and scheduling of training-related events
  • Identification and coordination of internal trainers and expectations
  • Oversee all communication regarding learning opportunities to help build and promote a culture of learning
  • Ensure ADA & EEO compliance of all TKWW learning programs
  • Design, develop and deliver live and virtual learning experiences
  • Liaise with external training vendors 
  • Oversee organizational L&D Budget

SUCCESSFUL LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT, MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Behavioral Science, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in building and delivering successful Learning & Development programs in a high growth, fast-paced environment
  • Professional certifications such as ATD, DiSC, StrengthsFinder are a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building and innovating
  • Knowledge and experience managing a learning management system to drive engagement in an online environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong program management experience
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering training in the workplace, and experience facilitating experiential workshops and team offsites
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly autonomous and organized with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced organization with minimal oversight
