TKWW is looking for a Junior Designer to contribute to our online wedding stationery collection. The Junior Designer will work on print design, which involves taking an existing wedding invitation style and applying those design elements to additional stationery items such as programs, labels, postcards and more. We are looking for individuals who are very detail-oriented, thrive in a fast paced environment, have a strong visual eye and impeccable design detail, and excellent typography skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for designing matching stationery items (approximately 15-20 products) in the branded style of an existing invitation and the production associated with those designs.
  • Accountable for maintaining an organized workflow and file management via organization & provided naming conventions
  • Responsible for maintaining a dialogue with the team about workflow, expectations & progress
  • Other design responsibilities as needed

SUCCESSFUL ASSISTANT JUNIOR DESIGNER CANDIDATES HAVE:

WeddingWire.in is looking for a smart, results-oriented Accountant to support us with our India business. This person should be well-rounded and willing to jump in to get the job done wherever needed. The role will entail working on Financial planning, managing accounts for the company and looking at the taxation policies and staying compliant. Overall he/she will also be responsible for accounts, costing, GST, finance & audits of the unit and handling the finance work at the unit level.The person will work with the Shared Services team for his/her scope of work.

 

The job role will comprise of the following in a detailed manner:

 

Senior Accountant 

o Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience within public accounting.

o Minimum Education: BS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields. An advanced degree or certification such as Chartered Accountant is highly desirable.

General Responsibilities

In providing General Accounting Support, the position requires comprehensive financial, operational, and system-related capabilities rooted in a knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Standards. In addition, the qualified candidate should have experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Auditing, Purchasing, Payroll Transaction Processing, Internal Controls, Information Systems Auditing, Financial Systems Operations, and Data Analytics. The qualified candidate should have the ability to provide support in the following areas:

  • Account Reconciliation – This area includes, but is not limited to, reconciling subsidiary and general ledger accounts, as well as revenue, cash collection and billing reconciliations.

  • Support timely and accurate completion of all required reports to other offices (mainly US)

TKWW is looking for an innately-curious, data-driven, and self-starting Senior Manager to join our team in the DC metro area. The Senior Manager's primary function is to coordinate and analyze financial information in order to forecast TKWW’s performance, provide actionable reporting and recommendations, and inform strategic planning across the Company. As a leader on TKWW’s FP&A team you will work with an FP&A team across DC, NYC, and Barcelona to help scale our planning and analysis capabilities, globally, across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Modeling: Understand KPIs and business drivers to create financial models and evaluate strategic alternatives.
  • Analysis: Design and execute regular financial analysis to identify critical areas for attention and the evaluation of strategic options.
  • Reporting: Build repeatable processes to prepare reports and presentations for management, the Board, Lenders, and other key stakeholders.  Provide meaningful and informative analysis to explain any variations in the business results from the financial plan.  Focus on automation and system driven solutions.
  • Planning: Develop department-level financial budgets and forecasts (across a diverse set of business types) utilizing inputs from department managers and project-focused spending plans.   • Take initiative to automate management reporting and document business processes.
  • Help develop and monitor critical success metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders. 

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR MANAGER, FP&A CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree from a competitive university in business administration, finance, accounting or statistics or a related field. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong quantitative analysis skills.
  • 7+ years experience in a financial/analytical role with a record of increasing responsibility. 
  • Experience managing direct reports.

The Head of Data Engineering plays a key role in supporting the data needs of the entire organization.  Our mission is to provide reliable, performant, timely and understandable centralized data services to TKWW.  

This is a multi-disciplinary role that involves project management of various size projects and ad-hoc requests, to data architecture and managing of people and resources.  Data is the life blood of TKWW and therefore this role will be working with leadership across the organization to ensure data needed for analysis and monitoring the success of our products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage a team of highly skilled data engineers across multiple locations 
  • Direct Data Engineering’s overall architecture and approach to data solutions
  • High level design of integrations between systems or the between various sources and the data warehouse
  • Project management of complex projects, breaking them down to smaller tasks, managing the scope of the projects and ensuring timely completion
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to analyze requirements and provide recommendations for solutions
  • Collaborate with other TKWW teams (Enterprise, ProdDev, DevOps, etc)  to provide data solutions for stakeholders
  • Ensure use of and contribution to best practices with tools and processes within the team
  • Inspire and support innovation within team to improve data offerings and help others to interact with our systems

SUCCESSFUL LEAD, DATA ENGINEERING CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Past programming experience and a demonstrated interest in statistical analysis, informatics, analytics, and business intelligence
  • Minimum of 12+ years experience with SQL and Data Warehouse development
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience managing people
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following Databases (MYSQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MSSQL, Redshift)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spearhead and own all editorial content related to baby gear, registry, parenting products and other shopping-based content 
  • Pitch, source, write and build 4-5 search-optimized stories a week
  • Lead content support for major shopping events such as Mother’s Day, Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday; coordinate strategy across promotion channels (social, email, paid)
  • Maintain high-value articles for sold-out products on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with Rev Ops team on affiliate link generation process and reporting

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

The Knot Worldwide is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with 4-6 years of experience to join the existing email marketing team of seven and support consumer engagement and advertising programs for The Knot, WeddingWire and The Bump brands. The Email Marketing Specialist will partner with the Creative Team, Local and National Sales Teams, Commerce Team and other stakeholders to create and execute email programs.

Day-to-day, this person will be building email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud’s Content Builder, segmenting data using SQL queries, working with stakeholders on approvals, scheduling email sends, reporting performance of campaigns, and providing recommendations to improve processes and performance. The Email Marketing Specialist must be able to react quickly to support business needs, determine daily activities and priorities while delivering projects to tight deadlines. The right candidate will have experience collaborating with various teams and developing large-scale campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the National email advertising program for all brands (WeddingWire, The Knot and The Bump), working closely with the Account Managers. Balance advertiser needs with brand and consumer interests.
  • Manage the Local email advertising program by working closely with the email Ops team and provide strategic guidance including list segmentation and campaign optimization to our largest clients.
  • Build and execute email campaigns to support the Commerce team and drive revenue. Make recommendations to improve performance.
  • Manage the daily set-up of one-time and automated email campaigns, content and message optimization, mobile-responsive email template creation & editing (HTML), list segmentation, deployment, and reporting in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Track email metrics and deliverability; report performance of email campaigns to stakeholders including open rates, click rates, and conversion.
  • Optimize performance of existing campaigns and programs by performing ongoing testing including audience segmentation, subject lines, email copy, layouts and CTAs that improve conversion. 
  • Ensure cross-browser/email client compatibility through testing tools such as Litmus. 
  • As needed, support other team members with execution of email campaigns.

SUCCESSFUL EMAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST CANDIDATES HAVE:

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to project manage multiple deliverables and brands. Key requirements for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. Background in editorial, e-commerce or consumer products a plus. 
  • 4-6 years experience in email marketing and execution.
  • Strong understanding and experience working with an enterprise-level ESP. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a big plus!
  • Intermediate knowledge of HTML specifically for email channel.
  • Basic SQL skills.
  • Basic experience with Google Analytics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, following a logical sequence to identify problems.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing using complex segmentation.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are seeking a Salesforce Product Manager to help us delight and inspire our internal teams, including Sales, Service, Billing, and Accounting with innovative Salesforce functionality and integrations. This role will help own the roadmap for a complex and high-profile backend systems transformation project, from discovery and requirements setting to launch.

We’re looking for someone who ensures that our teams are efficient and effective by bringing your understanding of Salesforce, creative problem solving, and user empathy to our team. You’ll work closely with Salesforce tech leads, Technical Project Management, and the broader Product Management team, as well as cross-functionally with decision makers in Sales & Revenue Operations, Local Sales, National Sales, Client Service, User Support, Billing, and Accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Always put our Salesforce users first
  • Help lead long term systems transformation processes, including the implementation of Salesforce CPQ & Billing products
  • Work closely with our outstanding analytics, data engineering, and research team to gain feedback and insights directly from Salesforce users.
  • Work with Sales & Revenue Operations, Sales Management, Service Management, Accounting, and International Growth to understand their needs, gather requirements, and analyze data with the goal of creating the best possible solutions for these teams.
  • Understand user stories and clearly communicate product requirements to technical leads
  • Clearly articulate enhancements and stakeholder requirements in written ticketing for tech partners
  • Look for opportunities to stabilize and enhance The Knot Worldwide’s Salesforce implementation
  • Set the strategic direction in collaboration with Product, Product Marketing and Salesforce engineering partners.
  • Drive outcome-focus execution - what matters most is how the features impact our colleagues and ultimately, their ability to impact our clients.
  • Collaborate with product leaders to ensure cohesion between Salesforce and the overall employee experience and tooling.
  • Promote the Salesforce platform technologies via interactions with stakeholders and executives
  • Form relationships and set recurring meetings with various stakeholders to keep a pulse on their satisfaction and identify upcoming needs.
  • Act as a liaison between US Stakeholders and a team of Salesforce Engineers in our Guangzhou, China office.

SUCCESSFUL SALESFORCE PRODUCT MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 3-5 years in Salesforce product development
  • Experience managing work in sprints and organizing a backlog and roadmap
  • Familiarity with common third-party solution providers for Salesforce.
  • You can set strategic direction and help ideate and launch new products and experiences
  • You always refer to quantitative and qualitative data in making product decisions and have experience with analytics and research tools + methods and comfort with analytical tools
  • You have a track record of creating quality

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The experienced and driven Account Manager (you!) will partner with our Global Media Solutions Team to develop media plans and optimize campaign and marketing opportunities to ensure long-term success for Global clients. This is a client-facing role, focused on relationship building, campaign planning, and execution. The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical and a self-starter with a passion for digital advertising and client satisfaction. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manage the client relationship from end to end in collaboration with the Account Executive/Sales Rep - planning and project management of campaign execution
  • Operate as the main point of contact for any and all matters specific to your clients
  • Work with Account Executive to create media plans based on client goals and objectives
  • Collaborate across departments and work closely with The Knot Worldwide’s Marketing and Studio teams to balance the company’s interest with the client goals
  • Review and manage inventory requests for media plans across multiple order management systems and documents
  • Partner with Account Executive and the Account Coordinator to execute on the approved media plan to ensure client goals are delivered
  • Confirm creative specs and asset deadlines for clients to gather assets
  • Ensure appropriate internal teams have the right assets with sufficient turnaround time for campaign deployment 
  • Work with internal teams to ensure on-time campaign deployment
  • Communicate with agencies/clients and outside vendors as needed for implementation of custom elements
  • Work with Account Coordinator to monitor campaign performance and make client recommendations for optimizations to ensure we hit delivery and that client’s campaign KPIs are met
  • Be an expert in our ad product offerings and based on performance/client feedback provide recommendations for product enhancements to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a positive, customer-centric attitude while being solutions-oriented

SUCCESSFUL ACCOUNT MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

We are hiring a director for our US Local Marketplace team which connects over 2 million engaged couples with +50,000 local wedding vendors (e.g. Venue, DJ, Florist, etc.) across the US each year. This position plays an essential role in solving complex problems across our two-sided marketplace in areas such as pricing, product strategy, go-to-market optimization, and analytics. This person needs to be a strong analytical thinker who is equally comfortable driving strategy as well as execution in a cross-functional environment in close coordination with stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, operations, and analytics.

This role can be based in our NYC or DC office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for formulating strategy and overseeing implementation of all pricing and monetization efforts related to the US Local Marketplace including:
    • Retention optimization
    • New product strategy 
    • Sales go-to-market
  • Responsible for leading and taking ownership of key strategic initiatives related to marketplaces across all TKWW brands (The Knot, WeddingWire, etc)

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

We are hiring a director for our US Local Marketplace team which connects over 2 million engaged couples with +50,000 local wedding vendors (e.g. Venue, DJ, Florist, etc.) across the US each year. This position plays an essential role in solving complex problems across our two-sided marketplace in areas such as pricing, product strategy, go-to-market optimization, and analytics. This person needs to be a strong analytical thinker who is equally comfortable driving strategy as well as execution in a cross-functional environment in close coordination with stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, operations, and analytics.

This role can be based in our NYC or DC office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for formulating strategy and overseeing implementation of all pricing and monetization efforts related to the US Local Marketplace including:
    • Retention optimization
    • New product strategy 
    • Sales go-to-market
  • Responsible for leading and taking ownership of key strategic initiatives related to marketplaces across all TKWW brands (The Knot, WeddingWire, etc)
    • Identify problems & proactively come up with solutions rooted in data across all products & brands
    • Support internal capability development around marketplace management and optimization
  • Support the production and distribution of marketplace analytics including:

The Knot Invitations is an exciting new line of business for The Knot Worldwide and we are making significant investments in our offering.  This role has significant growth opportunity and visibility to stakeholders including the CEO, CPO, and CTO.  The Engineering Manager for this team will work cross-organizationally to drive technical architecture vision and be a strong partner to product and design to establish OKRs and set technical vision to achieve business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee an engineering team responsible for our Invitations product vertical. This a blended team with internal personnel and external contractors.
  • Ensure the team is operating effectively to reach their goals, are properly supported and deliver quality software.
  • Evolve our platform into a sustainable architecture that supports iterative and fast development.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor multiple engineers at various stages of their career to ensure growth and cultivate emerging leaders.
  • Direct contractor group and partner with the vendors to ensure high quality delivery.
  • Provide leadership within the team to ensure solutions are built in alignment with company principles.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including pre-IPM, IPM, standups, and retros.
  • Partner with product and design to plan and deliver OKRs.
  • Actively participate in establishing the broader technical and product strategy that supports our company goals.
  • Partner with Principal Engineers and Architects to set the vision and create the tech roadmap to effectively operate this product and platform.
  • Formulate and proactively look for opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of the teams.
  • Collaborate with the broader zone and company on key technical initiatives. 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Have 7+ years of proven industry experience with 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Experience in one or more of the following development languages: Ruby, Go, React.
  • Deep understanding of distributed system design utilizing both relational and non-relational data stores.
  • Experience working within an Agile based environment.
  • A track record of shipping successful consumer facing products.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple work streams and coordinating resources across teams and products.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTIVITY ENGINEER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Join the team that empowers The Knot Worldwide’s engineers’ productivity and autonomy as well as operate infrastructure responsible for our brands. The Engineering Productivity Team (EPT) designs, creates and operates the platforms and tools that our engineers use to be their most productive and autonomous. EPT leads innovations including containerization, faster build cadence (hundreds per day) and Kubernetes orchestration. As a Productivity Engineer on EPT, you’ll help TKWW continue to innovate infrastructure and productivity tools.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage skills and experience to understand TKWW's practices, tooling and infrastructure
  • Help engineering with troubleshooting, scaling capacity, cost management and security.
  • Promote best practices for continuous integration, deployment, metrics and monitoring
  • Iteratively improve and keep current EPT practices, tooling and infrastructure. Where appropriate propose, design, create and operate new innovative solutions.
  • Provide on-call, emergency support outside of business hours on rotation.

SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTIVITY ENGINEER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Minimum 3 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience with a strong interest and desire to work with infrastructure and automation. This is an infrastructure/DevOps position.
  • Proficient with Linux systems including shell scripting
  • Proficient with a modern programming language like Go, Javascript, Python, or Ruby
  • Proficient with containerization solutions (e.g. Docker)
  • Understanding of system and Internet networking
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work independently

  • Serve as a senior engineer for the Austin TKWW team
  • Manage, maintain, and upgrade Magento platform
  • Produce well-tested, maintainable code on the back-end and front-end that can stand up to 100,000 requests per day
