TKWW is looking for a Stationery Designer to contribute to our online wedding stationery collection. 

Our Stationery Designer will work under the direction of our Stationery Art Director to grow our product portfolio by creating original designs for our stationery collection and digital wedding communications, and/or help to design needed products within a suite that other designers have created. 

The ideal candidate has a graphic design portfolio that includes strong wedding design examples with a keen sense of typography, and an inspiring aesthetic.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for designing completely original wedding stationery designs based upon a given brief. This includes creative research and concept through artwork
  • Create original artwork - painting, drawing, and digital illustration for use in stationery and digital communications that is exclusive to TKWW
  • Deliver quality design work in a fast-paced environment and take an active role in ensuring deadlines are met
  • Work cross functionally with other stakeholders to assist in the development of new designs and maintain effective communication throughout the process
  • Accountable for involvement in consistent feedback process
  • Responsible for maintaining a dialogue with the team about workflow, expectations & progress
  • Responsible for handing over perfect design files with superb organization
  • Work on design projects to support our rapid growth of the paper business

SUCCESSFUL STATIONARY DESIGNER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 3+ years of experience working in Adobe Illustrator
  • Wedding stationery design experience

This person should be well-rounded and willing to jump in to get the job done wherever needed. The role will entail working on Financial planning, managing accounts for the company and looking at the taxation policies and staying compliant. Senior Accountant 

o Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience within public accounting.

General Responsibilities

In providing General Accounting Support, the position requires comprehensive financial, operational, and system-related capabilities rooted in a knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Standards. In addition, the qualified candidate should have experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Auditing, Purchasing, Payroll Transaction Processing, Internal Controls, Information Systems Auditing, Financial Systems Operations, and Data Analytics.   • Account Reconciliation – This area includes, but is not limited to, reconciling subsidiary and general ledger accounts, as well as revenue, cash collection and billing reconciliations.

  • Support timely and accurate completion of all required reports to other offices (mainly US)

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

As Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, you will be a key member of The Knot Worldwide’s Global Accounting Team. Reporting to the Global Controller, you will be the direct contact for all internal and external reporting needs.  You will have significant interactions with legal, financial systems, finance, tax, HR and corporate development teams. 

You will be responsible for the preparation of TKWW’s monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting packages for internal stakeholders including executive leadership, in addition to external reporting packages for debt holders and the Board of Directors.  You will assist in debt compliance reporting as applicable.  Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of supporting documentation for our quarterly reviews and our annual consolidated audits.  Globally, you will work with our international accounting teams to ensure compliance with all international reporting statutory deadlines and ensure that the consolidated audit timeline is adhered to in order to meet reporting deadlines.   

As Senior Manager of Financial Reporting you will participate in other ad-hoc procedures such as performing technical accounting research and drafting related accounting memos. You may also support monthly close, SOX compliance, M&A activities, or other special projects, as needed. TKWW is seeking an individual who is eager to learn, grow and take on new (and/or temporary) challenges as we also grow. We are looking for someone who is flexible, has a solid accounting and technical foundation and aptitude, is detail-oriented, and has a desire to dive-in and roll-up their sleeves to gain an understanding over the company, the industry in which the company operates in, and what the financial results, financial trends, and key financial and investor metrics mean.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize, draft and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual documents similar to a 10Q and 10K including consolidated financial statements, financial statement footnotes and MD&A using financial schedules prepared by other functional groups and disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulations.
  • Participate in the analysis of financial and operational data to develop commentary to be used in Management’s Discussion and Analysis as well as any communications to stakeholders
  • Proactively work with business partners to manage and maintain an updated calendar of all internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of all financial reports to internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance of adequate supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Company's external auditors to communicate financial reporting issues during the quarter and year end periods.
  • Work with other departments, including senior management, to develop reports that present information in a clear and concise manner to answer specific questions, provide insight into company operations (within the accounting group as well as cross functionally – sales operations, sales, engineering and design) and enable decision making.
  • Review and approve financial package reports prepared by other functional groups, as applicable, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning & Analysis group by utilizing financial reports/models of actual financial data used to prepare monthly forecasts and budgets.
  • Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements 
  • Prepare internal monthly reporting package (including direct and indirect cash flow) and KPI package for internal circulation.     
  • Review all financial statements and reports of international subsidiaries and ensure all statutory reporting deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team for input and understanding of fluctuation analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as requested including M&A initiatives and other special projects.
  • Own and understand all reporting requested by the accounting team (i.e. legal requests for insurance diligence).
  • Support the tax team on reporting needs and supporting documentation associated with the quarterly and annual tax provision and annual return.

SUCCESSFUL SR. MANAGER, FINANCIAL REPORTING CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • 8-10 years of related experience, of which 3+ years public accounting experience is preferred and 3+ years in a financial reporting role, SEC reporting experience is preferred.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Netsuite preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Excel
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Sheets and Slides.
  • Ability to work independently.  Detail-oriented and execution focused. 
  • Strong general accounting skills and thorough knowledge of GAAP.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.   
  • Must be proactive, self-driven, and have the ability to resolve problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Act as lead commercial contracts attorney for designated specialties
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on:
    • Advertising agreements with agencies and advertisers, including standard and non-standard insertion orders, adtech services agreements for programmatic exchanges, and related confidentiality agreements
    • Technology, IT, and other third party service provider and consultant agreements
    • Customer sales matters, including routine customer contract requests and changes, customer contract exceptions, and any disputes related to local customer relationships
    • Standard and non-standard recruiting and staffing agreements and consulting agreements and statements of work
  • Support and provide legal advice on marketing initiatives and partnerships, review of marketing materials, and establish and maintain brand and style guidelines
  • Manage and coordinate internal contract approvals process
  • Contribute to the legal team’s continuous improvement efforts through development and refinement of playbooks, templates, and processes, including maintenance of template sales terms of purchase and terms of use.

SUCCESSFUL COMMERCIAL CONTRACT ATTORNEY CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 2-5 years of relevant commercial contract legal experience working in a law firm and/or corporate legal department; in-house corporate legal department experience preferred
  • Extensive experience negotiating a wide range of advertising agreements and other commercial contracts including familiarity with the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Standard Terms and Conditions and knowledge of related advertising laws
  • Experience negotiating and drafting routine and specialized contracts with third party technology and IT service providers and consultants, including identifying and addressing data security, privacy and intellectual property issues in a commercial context
  • Experience with preparation and review of marketing-related documents, such as talent services agreements (including releases and waivers), co-marketing relationships, promotions (including sweepstakes and contesting), and event contracts, and with providing marketing-related legal advice, such as truth-in-advertising review, FTC ad disclosure requirements, CAN-SPAM requirements, and company brand/style compliance
  • Strong and effective document drafting and negotiating skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; similarly, be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills and be detailed-oriented.
  • Experience with CCPA, GDPR and other privacy matters is a plus.
  • JD from an accredited US law school and member of the bar in any US jurisdiction with ability to practice in-house in Maryland
  • Fluency in a foreign language, particularly Spanish, a plus!

ABOUT THE GROWTH MARKETING ANALYST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

SUCCESSFUL GROWTH MARKETING ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 5+ years experience as an analyst working with digital brands (app experience a plus)
  • Undergraduate degree in related field (math, business, science, statistics), MBA a plus
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for recognizing trends/patterns in large data sets
  • Must be comfortable drawing key insights from data and communicating/presenting these findings to stakeholders and decision makers

This position will manage social, influencers, partnerships, and more including all owned and earned media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role will be directly reporting to the Marketing lead & would be responsible for driving the Social Media team as well as working on the brand content requirement. 
  • The ideal candidate would have a minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably from an internet background, leading online brand, and/or brand creative agency with experience as an account manager or a brand planner. 
  • Exposure to Digital Marketing is a must with understanding how to calendar plan, ideate & execute brand campaigns (digitally). 
  • Scripting or content writing would be an add-on

This opening is for our Marketplace zone which connects over 2 million engaged couples with +50,000 local wedding vendors (e.g. Venue, DJ, Florist, etc.) across the US each year. This position plays an essential role in solving complex problems across our two-sided marketplace in areas such as pricing, product strategy, and go-to-market optimization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create smarter product solutions for our couples and vendors
  • Answer strategic questions by analyzing behavioral data
  • Communicate, collaborate and present results to clients within The Knot Worldwide

SUCCESSFUL DATA SCIENTIST CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Experience defining patterns/style guides, performing user testing, and building low to high fidelity prototypes.

The Product Support Team helps our business support our users and enhance their workflows by fielding enhancement requests and troubleshooting bugs. The Product Support Specialist role can serve as an entry point to Product Management, QA, or third party Software Administration, depending on acumen.

  • Respond to and resolve bug reports from internal users
  • Vet enhancement requests for impact and feasibility

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are looking for a Manager who has experience with and a passion for business analytics as well as strategy growth and effectiveness to join our team.  This role oversees business reporting, analytics and data driven insights related to product mix, sales velocity, share of market and sales compensation.  This person needs to be a strong analytical thinker who produces work with a high level of accuracy / attention to detail and is comfortable executing in a cross-functional environment in close coordination with stakeholders across Sales, Sales Development, Revenue Operations / Yield, Enterprise Systems and FP&A.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Analytics & Reporting:

  • Own and manage the Global Media Solutions team’s Monthly Business Review. This will include data inputs / updates as well as drawing insights on trends in health metrics, product mix, capacity and sell through rates
  • Provide both ad hoc and proactive analysis of sales productivity metrics (close rates, past booking trends) to identify and quantify revenue opportunity and risk
  • Partner with the Enterprise Systems team to ensure appropriate system configuration and integrity / hygiene of the GMS customer, order and revenue data housed and sourced from systems, including: Salesforce.com (CRM) and OperativeOne (order management), with an eye toward reporting automation

Revenue Forecasting

  • Analyze year over year and quarter over quarter trends within the business and via external sources to estimate market share and surface new sales opportunities
  • Generate quarterly and annual revenue forecasts vs. budget weekly and comparisons on prior year’s pacing
  • Coordinate updates to weekly pipeline and pacing reports, present to leadership with a point of view on trending and insights
  • Prepare summaries for weekly sales meeting to show the latest bookings, pacing and other metrics to facilitate discussions

Sales Targets & Compensation Administration:

  • Manage and update account assignments for current and prospective accounts, including sales rep / territory assignments, splits, etc.
  • Work with leadership on goal setting and goal adjustments
  • Manage quarterly and annual compensation including offer letters, individual monthly statements and calculation of final payouts
  • Provide monthly updates for sales management and sales reps on tracking to quarterly and annual goals

SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Strong attention to detail / deadlines and accuracy in their work product 
  • Advanced excel skills, very comfortable handling and manipulating large data sets with ease and accuracy
  • A proactive approach in analyzing the business and in follow through on requests
  • Experience and a sophisticated approach to organizing data into hierarchies and structures for usability and ease of reporting
  • Experience processing compensation data through several cycles

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately, efficiently and professionally answer all incoming emails
  • Communicate thoroughly with customers, couples, tech teams and other internal team members
  • Problem-solve technical review questions and issues that customers may have and work cross-departmentally to resolve them
  • Assist difficult customers or situations with a calm and professional demeanor
  • Evaluate disputes by gathering factual information, document details and outcome accurately

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:  

WeddingPro Support Team Members are responsible for providing exceptional service and an effortless experience to the TKWW Wedding Pro (vendor) base. As the front-line and most frequent contact for both paid and unpaid vendors the WeddingPro Support Team Members are crucial to building and maintaining strong brand affinity and vendor satisfaction. This is especially relevant when helping new partner wedding pros learn and use the tools and information on the TKWW advertising platforms.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide highly responsive service to TKWW Wedding Pros (vendors), efficiently and professionally. Channels include chat, email, and phone. 
  • Maintain sufficient product knowledge across all TKWW properties to provide accurate solutions and an effortless vendor experience. 
  • Support the launch and/or optimization of service delivery channels such as self-serve help, chat, and others. 
  • Work directly with vendors who purchase new or additional TKWW products. Ensure every purchaser is prepared to succeed with TKWW and that the company collects relevant vendor data and expectations to inform the optimal customer journey and experience. 
  • Problem solve technical questions and issues that customers may have and work cross-departmentally to resolve them.
  • Share “the voice of the vendor” from the WeddingPro Support POV so leadership can adequately support retention efforts. 
  • Create and maintain an individual development plan (IDP) to inform career development, prioritize learning opportunities, and foster growth within and beyond TKWW. 
  • Consistently meet or exceed stated performance expectations for work quality, quantity, and impact. 
  • Maintain individual and team-level ratings of satisfaction with WeddingPro Support. These may include CSAT, CES, NPS or other metrics as determined by leadership. 
  • Remain 100% compliant with all data, record-keeping, and reporting requests.

SUCCESSFUL CUSTOMER SUPPORT CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Previous work in a high volume, high visibility customer service environment or similar
  • Strong technical background, preferably with SaaS or subscription products
  • Proven ability to learn new information and adopt new processes quickly and effectively 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a highly motivated engineering leader with a passion for building elegant, delightful, and scalable web+mobile applications for consumers. The individual's primary role will be to set architectural guidelines and lead a team of engineers that support our squads building The Knot Platform. The candidate will be embedded in an Agile environment and work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers across squads to provide the best in class web+mobile experiences for our users. The person must have a strong understanding of both front and back end development, highly adaptable to new technologies / software development concepts, and loves to work within a collaborative team environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set architectural guidelines, both software and infrastructure-related, for The Knot Platform
  • Actively participate in the ideation and execution of engineering OKRs, roadmap strategy, architecture discussions, and Agile planning
  • Promote best practices for engineering productivity, automated testing, continuous integration, code standards, and use of AWS
  • Provide engineering mentorship across the team

 SUCCESSFUL DIRECTOR, PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 10+ years overall software engineering experience 
  • 10+ years hands-on proven track record implementing JavaScript frontend applications and scalable backend APIs in a service-oriented architecture on AWS

The Manager, Financial Systems position will work in our Barcelona office and will closely interact with our local accounting and internal software team there. This role will take requirements from our accounting group and work to achieve them in Netsuite and other financial systems such as Coupa and RevPro. The role also requires interacting with our in house CRM team to coordinate the synchronization of data into and out of financial systems as needed. This role will also serve as a bridge between accounting + tech teams distributed in the US and Barcelona and will be responsible for assuring that initiatives involving financial systems are communicated and coordinated properly between both offices. Reports to US Director of Financial Systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the technical system aspects of any international accounting initiatives within the framework of the Global Financial Systems department.
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure that their requirements are being met in ways that are technically sound and maintain stability in Netsuite and other financial systems such as Coupa and Revpro.
  • Understand accounting requirements in various countries and work to translate them into system changes in Netsuite.
  • Supervise the implementation of system changes in Netsuite and quickly make those changes when appropriate.
  • Determine when a particular project may be the best fit for a consulting group in a particular country and then scope, hire, and manage a team as necessary.
  • Keep in sync with our Director of Financial systems in the US as well as US accounting team members to ensure that both teams are up to date and coordinated.
  • Keep up to date on upcoming changes in Netsuite, how they affect our installation, and how they can be leveraged going forward.
  • Work with Netsuite account representatives and support teams to resolve issues.
  • Establish, define, and maintain both process and documentation to ensure that changes are being made in an auditable, visible manner that maintains system integrity.
  • Reviewing help tickets from accounting teams and troubleshooting to help them resolve issues and create new reports.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with our International Accounting teams during development of new system customizations and processes.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE: 

  • A certification in NetSuite Administration, an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, related field or an equivalent combination of education and training.
  • A comprehensive understanding of out of the box Netsuite functionality including but not limited to Tax Localization, Workflows, SuiteScript, SuiteAnalytics, Advanced Revenue Management and can identify when custom scripting is necessary vs using built in features.
  • Knowledge and/or certification working with common financial systems such as Coupa and Revpro. Previous experience with credit card processors such as Adyen and Cybersource and an understanding of international payments.
  • Experience recruiting, scoping, managing, and rolling off consulting teams for various Netsuite projects.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to communicate effectively with finance teams, auditors, technical teams, and system users at all levels in the organization.
  • A deep understanding of ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition and how to use Netsuite to achieve compliance
  • A solid understanding of US GAAP, Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
  • A detailed understanding of various integration platforms for moving data into Netsuite such as enterprise ETL tools (Dell Boomi) or fully custom integrations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, an analytical mind and strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to relay technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience working within industry standard development processes to deploy changes in a structured, auditable method that allows for rollbacks and precise tracking of exactly what is changing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the organization of data structure within systems such as Salesforce, HR systems, and other internal facing data sources to support of multiple lines of business
  • Partner with various internal stakeholders to understand our existing business, challenges/opportunities, and proactively provide solutions on how to support their goals by identifying data shortcomings and potential enhancements
  • Facilitate implementation and testing of new systems by managing data migrations, cleanup, and making sure team members understand any assumptions/nuances in how that data was transformed that affect business rules around the data.
  • Create and monitor a data quality scoring and tracking system
  • Proactively cleanse, consolidate, and improve how data is organized to reduce technical debt, both independently and in collaboration with our Sales Operations team
  • Create a change management process for new field, object and data creation
  • Establish and maintain a data dictionary across a variety of systems
  • Perform bulk imports of data as needed using appropriate tooling
  • Own the integration strategy and process for integrating with external data and systems

The Knot is the nation’s leading wedding marketplace, providing our couples with a personalized experience that guides them through the entire wedding planning journey. The Registry team develops tools for couples to register for gifts, for their guests to buy them, and the back-end systems to make it all happen stress-free. We are focused on streamlining the process for our users and on finding new ways to surface inspiration and advice where couples need it most.

The apps you will be working on introduce couples to what a wedding registry is and what kinds of things they can register for, guide them through creating a personalized registry all their own, and help them track gifts all the way to their doorstep.

ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Knot Worldwide is looking for a highly motivated engineering leader with a passion for enterprise systems, complex data integrations, and optimizing internal business processes - especially processes for sales and financial operations.  This role will lead diverse teams of enterprise product managers and engineers to manage and optimize systems used across the entire global organization.  The candidate will be embedded in an Agile environment and work cross-functionally with engineering squads, departmental stakeholders, and senior leaders to provide the best in class experiences for our internal users around the world.  The person must have a strong understanding of 3rd party sales and financial systems, passionate about improving internal business processes at a global scale, and loves to work within a collaborative team environment that includes colleagues in many locations around the world. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage teams of enterprise product managers and engineers that maintain and optimize our global sales and financial processes
  • Participate in the setting of quarterly OKRs, and provide support and guidance to drive enterprise teams to successfully reach those OKRs
  • Establish and promote engineering best practices to effectively create a global enterprise ecosystem that meets the demands of our growing business
  • Actively work with departmental leaders to understand where internal processes can be improved, and drive teams to improve those processes effectively, at a global scale
  • Vet and oversee external consultants when projects require additional capacity or knowledge beyond the current teams
  • Provide product and engineering mentorship across the team

SUCCESSFUL VP, ENTERPRISE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 10+ years overall software engineering experience, with proven track record implementing and optimizing sales and financial systems across a global organization
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce (CRM, CPQ, and Billing), Netsuite, RevPro, credit card processors like Cybersource or Adyen implemented for internal teams at a global scale
  • Led organizations thru successful SOC compliance efforts, including oversight of audit reviews and major systems changes
  • In-depth experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Thrives in a collaborative work culture with teammates located in-office or remote, across multiple locations in US and abroad
  • Experience with AWS and HRIS systems is a plus
