ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Are you looking for a unique experience where you can showcase your cosmetology skills while being a part of an award winning company culture at one of DC’s best tech companies? The Knot Worldwide is seeking a hair stylist (you!) to join our team, responsible for providing in-office cuts and styling to employees in our on-site salon. You will make an impact on the employee experience of the team in our Chevy Chase, MD office.  This role is a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Perform hair services (blowouts, styling, hair cuts, scalp massage, etc) in our in-office salon during normal business hours (flexible work schedule within the hours of Mon - Fri, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm).
  • With a high level of hospitality and professionalism, provide a unique and positive experience for employees.
  • Manage employee appointment booking, rescheduling, and cancellations in our online booking system, Calendly.
  • Maintain a high level of order in the salon and perform light cleaning including washing towels, disinfect the shampoo bowl and countertop, sweep, etc.
  • Partner with our Office and Employee Experience team to manage the salon supply and product inventory so orders can be placed accordingly.

SUCCESSFUL STYLISTS CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • A current and valid Cosmetology license for Maryland.
  • Amazing styling and finishing skills.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A High School diploma and are at least 18 years old.
  • The availability to work at least 10-20 hours in our Chevy Chase, MD office.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This Data Analyst will work with stakeholders within the marketing department of TKWW.  They will help the client understand performance of our acquisition channels and conversion funnels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze TKWW user behavior and identify growth opportunities to drive acquisition and engagement
  • Create and manage dashboards in dashboarding tools like Qlik, Birst and Tableau, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, Excel and develop presentations to keep the team apprised of key trends

SUCCESSFUL DATA ANALYST CANDIDATES HAVE:

WeddingWire is seeking PHP Engineers (you!)  to assist with production support as we work through major integration projects. As a full-stack developer, you will work alongside our feature web development teams in a very collaborative, fast-paced environment to ensure our consumer and business customers have the best experience possible.  You will receive, prioritize and respond to customer feedback, while participating in productive, results-driven business discussions and decision making. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive, triage and respond to feedback and bug reports from internal teams and production users.
  • Provide technical evaluations to assist in prioritization of incoming issues.
  • Construct performant MySQL statements to debug or correct data when required.
  • Strive to adhere to production support team SLAs by implementing fixes quickly and efficiently with minimal error.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 5-6 years of relevant engineering experience; hands-on coding is required.

  • The ability to onboard quickly to new platforms and reverse engineer efficiently.

You will join our Creative Services team for a short term contract (3-6 months), and will work closely alongside a designer and web operations specialist to build out digital marketing collateral across various platforms for TKWW and our many brands. This position will be up to 40 hours per week in our DC office (no remote).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are responsible for writing copy that translates advertising marketing strategies into creative, on-brand messaging and drives conversions.
  • You will need to effectively write in multiple formats across different channels: website copy, app copy, emails, product, social and more.
  • You will compose compelling and grammatically clean short-form copy that tells a focused narrative, and drives strong and persuasive calls to action.
  • You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion, and will be expected to meet/exceed deadlines.

This position will be up to 40 hours per week in our DC office (no remote).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You are responsible for designing ads that will be used across various channels like SEM, Facebook, Pinterest, Display, etc.
  • You will work with your team to develop landing pages and email ads, as well as GIFs/animation.

  • Fluency with industry-standard design tools & programs, specifically Sketch.

Revenue Forecasting and Pipeline Management - monitor overall health of TKWW bookings and pipeline by:

  • Generating quarterly and annual forecasts vs. budget weekly using gross sales and revenue booked vs. prior years pacing
  • Completing ad hoc analysis on close rates and historic trends to quantify risk or growth opportunity inherent in current pipeline
  • Refreshing weekly pipeline and pacing reports to be reviewed by senior leadership and presented in our weekly sales meeting
  • Providing ad hoc reports on bookings by category, product, and/or advertiser on an as requested basis

Compensation Structure, Goal Setting, and Account List Management - facilitate and maintain everything related to the goal setting and tracking process by:

The Lead Software Engineer (you!) will bring a wide range of professional expertise and knowledge to our global Product Development team as we create the very best wedding experience for couples, their guests and vendors--our small business customers. Our newly created Internal Tools team will be responsible for developing proprietary software that will be used by WeddingWire employees.  This team designs, builds and maintains high quality, scalable product deployments to backend systems and tools that are critical to internal team workflows.  This team will also oversee systems and third party integrations that are critical to our business-facing operations.  You will execute strategy surrounding code deployments and manage the foundation and framework for others to be effective throughout the release process,  You will participate in productive, results-driven business discussions and decision making.  The cherry on top, you will continue to advance personal skill set and domain knowledge while helping others progress through mentorship opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as part of our Internal Tools team to evaluate and execute designs and improvements to systems that power admin interfaces, sales, contract management systems, and billing integrations.  
  • Implement designs quickly and efficiently with minimal error, or delegate lower level tasks to more Junior developers when appropriate.
  • Ensure that systems are maintained and scalable and that tech debt remains minimal during and after feature development.  Technological choices should be made thoughtfully so their impacts do not hinder future development.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 6-8 years of relevant engineering experience; hands-on coding is required

  • Experience integrating custom codebases with enterprise software systems such as Salesforce or Netsuite and with systems that facilitate credit card transactions

The motivated and detail-oriented certified NetSuite Administrator (you!) will impact the financial operations and success of a leading global business.  You will play a key role in providing planning, reviewing and revising the configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet the evolving needs of the business. Experience in one or more of the following technologies a bonus: Ruby on Rails, React/Redux/ES6/Webpack, PHP, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Chef, NGINX.
