ABC’s The Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and Fiancé Bryan Abasolo Reveal Their Wedding Registry on The Knot

The Couple’s Registry Includes Kitchen and Home Classics From Popular Brands Like Cuisinart, Vitamix and Dyson; Cash Funds for Their Honeymoon and Shared Experiences; Plus a Charity Registry for a Cause Close to Their Hearts

New York, NYJune 12, 2019ABC’s The Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay and her fiancé Bryan Abasolo today revealed their wedding registry on The Knot Registry, powered by The Knot, the leading wedding planning and registry resource in the US. The couple, who recently moved in together and are getting married this summer, chose to start their new life together with a variety of kitchen and home must-haves from top retailers; cash funds for their honeymoon and shared experiences, like a cooking class for two; and a charity registry for the Alzheimer’s Association, a cause close to their hearts.

“Wedding planning has been really exciting for us, and registering for our wedding has probably been one of the top highlights! I would definitely say, as women, we get excited to push buttons, but it’s important to include your significant other in the process,” said Rachel. “By using The Knot Registry, Bryan and I were able to visit our favorite retail stores and physically look at and touch items (plus use that coveted scanner!) and also add to and manage all of our wedding registries together at home or on the go. We also had the option to create cash funds and a charity fund, which was so important to us.”

The Knot Registry allows couples to seamlessly create and manage an all-in-one registry with everything from cash funds and experiences, to retail products and charities. Couples are never limited in their wedding registry picks, and guests can easily discover and purchase wedding gifts hand-selected by the to-be-weds when they search the couple’s name at TheKnot.com/registry/couplesearch.

“The Knot Registry’s all-in-one capabilities allow couples like Rachel and Bryan to really dive into their wedding registry on their own terms,” said Kristen Maxwell Cooper, editor in chief of The Knot. “Whether couples want to fully create and manage their registries online, physically scan products in person at their local retailers, or create multiple cash funds to help them fund fun experiences—like a couple’s cooking class—couples are truly able to create a custom registry unique to them on The Knot. We’re thrilled to see that Rachel and Bryan have included a mix of staple products to make their new house a home, along with fun activities they can enjoy together as newlyweds.”

Rachel and Bryan are especially excited about outfitting their new home together. When asked about some of their favorite products on their wedding registry, many of them included kitchen and other home appliances. “The Vitamix is all Bryan,” noted Rachel. “We drink a lot of smoothies, and Bryan is very into juicing. Also, when I was on The Bachelor, it showed me vacuuming with the Dyson. That was my sister’s vacuum, and I thought to myself, ‘You know what? I’m going to put this on my registry because that’s how the world met me at first: dancing with a vacuum.’”

Along with products from registry retailers, Rachel and Bryan have included options from The Knot Cash Funds, which allows guests to contribute to their honeymoon (the couple is planning to honeymoon somewhere romantic and relaxing by the water)—whether that’s a couples massage on the beach, dinner for two one night, a sunset catamaran cruise, or cocktails to kick off their celebration—and experiences like a cooking class they’d like to take together.

The couple also chose The Knot Gifts Back, which is the only charity registry program that donates to charities on behalf of couples at no extra cost to their guests. Through The Knot Gifts Back, The Knot donates a portion of the cost of each eligible gift purchased through a couple’s registry on The Knot to a charity of their choice. Rachel and Bryan chose the Alzheimer’s Association, a cause that personally resonates with Rachel and has impacted many members of her family.

“There’s so many things that I’m passionate about, and the hardest thing for me was to pick a charity. I wanted to pick something that strikes a chord with me and means something to me,” said Rachel. “Alzheimer’s is a disease that has affected a number of people in my family—either they’re going through it now, or it’s taken their lives. My grandmother had it, her sisters had it, and my aunt had it—they won’t be with me physically to celebrate this day with me. That’s why it was so important to give back to this charity and what better way to do it than through The Knot Gifts Back.”
