At The Knot Worldwide (TKWW), believe that we can create significant value through making a positive impact on our communities.  We are proud of the impactful programs we have developed and are committed to laying the foundation for future areas of focus.  In 2021, TKWW engaged with key stakeholder groups, including couples, wedding professionals, employees, our board and investors to identify the environmental, social and governance topics that are most important for TKWW.

Employee Engagement & Wellbeing

TKWW strives to help its employees thrive mentally and physically by offering a rewarding culture and a number of programs including flexible PTO, a robust set of health care offerings, mental health support and an employee assistance program. Additionally, TKWW has established the TKWW Relief Fund where eligible employees are able to apply to receive a financial grant for qualifying events (i.e. COVID relief, governmentally declared disasters, etc.) to help offset expenses incurred as a result such as food, clothing, housing, childcare, and more.

Talent Development

TKWW maintains a strong corporate culture by attracting and retaining talent through fair compensation, career development, training and education. We offer a learning hub of educational programs encompassing TKWW-specific trainings and career-specific, certificate-based programs where employees can meet all educational and developmental needs for successful career advancement.

Our Teams

In addition to unconscious bias and inclusive leadership training, a quarterly DEI speaker series and cultural celebrations, TKWW employees are involved in building an even more inclusive workplace through the company’s DEI Council and Employee Resource Groups.

THE DEI COUNCIL

brings together representatives from across the organization to highlight key departmental DEI activities, request feedback on proposed initiatives and align on items that affect multiple areas of the business.

EMPLOYEE RESOURCE GROUPS

(ERGs) serve to create a greater sense of belonging for all employees. They empower employees to gather and celebrate meaningful events, discuss challenges and foster community at TKWW.

In order to fully enjoy life’s biggest moments together, couples rely on a healthy and sustainable planet. As a global leader in the wedding industry, it is our responsibility to ensure our business, our industry and our community plays its part in reducing the environmental impact on our planet for future generations.

As a company, we are focused on reducing our environmental impact through vendor and consumer education, responsibly managing consumption and waste across our offices and identifying climate risks and opportunities to reduce our carbon footprint and energy usage. We support TKWW employees’ efforts to combat climate change and reduce our environmental impact, including through employee resource groups as well as company green and charitable initiatives. We have much more to do, and have committed to finding ways to decrease our environmental impact in future.
