An Update on October 2025 Organizational Changes

On October 28, 2025, our CEO Raina Moskowitz, announced a restructuring of The Knot Worldwide. Her full memo sent to global employees is pasted below.

Team,

Today is a very hard day for our TKWW team. Thank you for joining me this morning for this important update. I want to recap what I shared and make sure those who were unable to attend have the same information. For nearly 30 years, The Knot Worldwide has been a trusted partner in helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful milestones. We’ve entered a new chapter defined by rapid technological transformation and new possibilities for how people create, plan, and connect. Since joining earlier this year, I’ve spent time listening, learning, and building a vision for how TKWW can thrive in this new era. Our recent AI-powered product launches are an early glimpse into what’s possible when joy, creativity, and technology come together.

To meet this moment and realize our vision, we need to reshape how we work—simplifying how decisions get made, operating with greater focus, and empowering teams with the right tools and capabilities. These shifts will allow us to build more innovative products, serve our customers better, and position TKWW for long-term success.

As part of this transformation, a number of roles across the company will be impacted as we restructure the organization for future growth. This decision was not made lightly. This step is essential to align our organization around our greatest opportunities for growth and to reinvest in the areas—particularly technology and product innovation—that will define our future.

For those directly affected, please know how deeply grateful we are for the talent, dedication, and heart you’ve brought to TKWW. You’ve shaped this company in countless ways, and your contributions will have a lasting impact for our customers. We are committed to treating every departing team member with care and respect, providing separation payments, benefit support, and transition resources.

In the U.S., Latin America, and India, impacted employees will be notified and transitioned today. The notification and consultation process will vary across other regions. Given our close global collaboration, I know this period is challenging, especially for our colleagues who must wait for the outcome, and we deeply appreciate your patience and compassion for one another during this time.

Please take care of yourselves and each other. We will move forward, with empathy, focus, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Let me outline some of the key organizational changes:

  • We are deepening investment in product innovation, technology, data, and commerce to better serve customers globally.
  • We will wind down business operations in Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, and Chile to concentrate resources in markets where we can have the greatest impact.
  • We will continue operating The Bash, while allocating more internal resources to our global wedding brands and The Bump.
  • Angel Llull will become Chief Customer Officer, leading all customer-facing teams to strengthen our feedback loop and deliver even better experiences. Moving forward, the team will be called Global Customer Success (GCS).
  • Jenny Lewis, our Chief Marketing Officer, will now also lead Global Media Solutions, unifying our marketing, content, and media capabilities under one vision to drive greater value for our partners.

Moving forward

Whether you’re continuing with us or moving on, please know how deeply grateful I am for all you’ve done to shape The Knot Worldwide into what it is today. While today is painful, it is also a turning point, one that will allow us to build the next chapter of TKWW. I’m confident that, with the same passion and purpose that’s brought us this far, we’ll achieve our vision and play an even greater role in bringing joy and creativity to life’s most meaningful moments.

With gratitude,

Raina
