Milan, October 10, 2018 – At a time when the wedding sector is showing great vitality, it becomes essential for Italian companies to explore the opportunities of the growing, increasingly competitive and digitized sector. In the age of marriage 3.0, entrepreneurs and professionals cannot fall behind and must prioritize the creation of a digital strategy, to expand their online businesses and grow profits. It is precisely for this reason that Matrimonio.com, the leading wedding website in Italy and the world, returns to offer educational and networking opportunities to wedding professionals. The Wedding Summit 2018, is the first Italian Wedding Road Tour, boasting a schedule full of professional speakers, direct testimonies and round tables.

The first two events of the Wedding Summit 2018, held respectively in Milan (September 26) and Rome (October 2), involved companies and professionals from the Wedding sector across different categories (venues, catering, photography and video, music, animation, planners etc.). So far more than 400 companies have responded to the call by Matrimonio.com, a clear show of appreciation for the Summit’s schedule and the quality of the content presented.

Working side by side with the over 52,000 companies registered on our site pushes us every day to improve and make the sector grow further, carrying out research, data and training across all our channels. Among these is undoubtedly our training and networking day, which brings together sector professionals to learn about the latest trends with the help of our experts,” explains the CEO of Matrimonio.com, Nina Pérez. “The Italian market continues to be a focal point for us, thanks to its great vitality and growth potential“, concludes Pérez.

In the first two days of the Tour, Gianluca Diegoli, marketing expert and author of the minimarketing.it blog, and Andrea Fontana, leading Italian expert in Corporate Storytelling held talks and were able to engage the audience on topics useful for further developing the online business of all companies attending. “Events like the Wedding Summit are key because we live in a time of information overload, in which we are constantly bombarded by content. Being able to pause and debate at a professional and personal level is essential for self-development, finding new solutions, and researching methods and techniques in-depth, which the hectic pace of daily professional life normally fails to allow”, explains Andrea Fontana after his speech on the importance of storytelling in corporate communication.

The round table on the success stories of companies listed with Matrimonio.com, was attended by entrepreneurs and professionals, such as Stefano Rusconi of Rusconi Catering & Banqueting and Marco Zammarchi from the Dimedia photographic studio. The event generated many important points to reflect on regarding the work of companies in the sector and relevant corporate marketing strategies. Also taking part in the Milanese event: singer Victor Messana from Victor Music, Paolo Pietrogrande, founder of Atelier Sposa d’Este and Giuseppe Bertesago from Cà del Facco, an agritourism in the Cremasca countryside, Gianluca Romano, founder of the Superanimatori agency, Antonio Campanale, General Manager of Aurora Catering, Pierpaolo Benigni, Manager of La Porta del Principe, a late nineteenth century noble farmstead and Alfonso Bonè, Director of Salem Spose, a wedding dress atelier in Rome.

During the third and final day of the Wedding Summit, to be held on November 8th at the Mostra D’Oltremare Congress Center in Naples, issues related to Digital Marketing shall be discussed. This is thanks to the participation of an expert panel, including Vincenzo Cosenza, digital communication and social media expert, with a talk discussing content experience, the role of influencers and brand positioning.
