On newsstands today, The Knot Magazine Summer 2025 “The Choice Is Yours” Issue is all about wedding planning on your terms – with expert guidance and inspiration to help couples cut through decision fatigue and confidently choose what feels right for them.

NEW YORK, NY, April 29, 2025 – Love is the ultimate win. The Knot Magazine, a leading wedding planning publication, today launches its Summer 2025 “The Choice Is Yours” Issue, featuring two-time Olympic medalist and six-time world champion Noah Lyles and two-time Olympian Junelle Bromfield in their first-ever joint magazine cover feature. From winning gold on the track to finding peace and purpose in each other, the duo shares how vulnerability, communication and shared values turned a cross-continental friendship into lasting love. The couple opens up about their intentional “trial run” approach to dating, the challenges they’ve faced together and their plans for a 2026 wedding that’s personal, culturally rich and rooted in joy. This issue is inspired by the idea that every couple deserves to plan a wedding that reflects their shared values—without the pressure to follow tradition for tradition’s sake. With insights from The Knot editorial team and top wedding pros, this issue helps couples make thoughtful, authentic decisions about everything from dress codes and aesthetics to budgeting and timelines.

“We’re thrilled to feature Olympic superstars Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield on the cover of our Summer 2025 ‘Choice Is Yours’ Issue,” said Lauren Kay, Executive Editor of The Knot. “Their love story is rooted in intention, communication and honoring what feels right for them—which is exactly what this issue is all about. A wedding is a joyous celebration of love and commitment, but it also comes with a lot of decisions. Some are fun, others more complex. In these pages, we’re helping couples navigate all of them—from budget talks to bold fashion—with clarity and confidence. Because when your wedding reflects who you really are, every choice feels easier.”

In the cover story, titled “Higher Love,” Noah and Junelle reflect on how they built their relationship through long-distance communication, while navigating elite-level athletic careers and how mutual respect lays the foundation for their relationship. “Junelle, you were the first person to make me feel safe. You are my safe space,” Noah said. Junelle echoes the sentiment: “You were the first person to make me feel like I can be myself.”

Personal challenges have also shaped their bond and outlook on mental health. Noah, who has spoken openly about his experiences with ADHD, depression and dyslexia, sees wellness as an ongoing journey. “The mental health journey is always going on—it never stops,” he says. Junelle, who faced cyberbullying and colorist criticism during the 2024 Summer Olympics, stands firm in her identity. “I love my skin complexion. I love my hair. I love everything about being Black,” she said. With Noah’s support, the couple has built a relationship rooted in honesty, resilience and emotional safety.

The couple’s spring 2026 wedding will be a thoughtful reflection of who they are – both as individuals and as a team. While Noah joked about keeping the guest list “under 200,” Junelle envisions a more intimate celebration rooted in her Jamaican heritage. “I want to get as many Jamaicans involved as possible – my makeup artist, my dress, everything,” she said. They’ll also honor lost loved ones with a visual tribute: empty chairs at the ceremony for Junelle’s late mother and brother. And while Noah plans to freestyle his vows, Junelle will have hers written. “I get nervous in big crowds,” she said, “so I need to write mine down.”

Looking ahead, the couple is dreaming of a family—dogs and a son named Simba. “Simba is going to be born,” Noah said confidently when referring to their future. Junelle laughs, remembering when he first floated the name. Their future vision includes love, legacy and a life full of joy, playfulness and purpose. “You’re stuck with me,” Noah teased. They wouldn’t have it any other way.

As part of the launch, The Knot will release an exclusive video of Junelle shopping for her wedding dress at Pantora Bridal on The Knot’s Instagram and TikTok, debuting Thursday, May 1. Additionally, The Knot premiered a new video titled Vow Practice on its YouTube channel, featuring both Noah and Junelle rehearsing their vows and answering fun relationship questions.
