03/12/2014: XO Group Names Katherine Wu Brady as EVP, E-Commerce and Registry
NEW YORK, NY, March 12, 2014 – XO Group Inc. (NYSE: XOXO, www.theknotworldwide.com), the premier media and technology company devoted to weddings, pregnancy, and everything in between, today announced it has named Katherine Wu Brady as Executive Vice President, E-Commerce and Registry.

As leader of the e-commerce and registry teams, Ms. Brady will be responsible for deepening the e-commerce engagement of XO Group’s millions of members and building new relationships to leverage the company’s patented gift registry aggregation business. “I am excited about the opportunity to apply my experience in optimizing mobile transactions and managing the customer life cycle to grow the e-commerce and affiliate revenue opportunities inherent in XO Group’s powerful brands and unique, must-buy life stage audience,” said Ms. Brady.
Ms. Brady most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Vente-privee USA, the e-commerce venture backed by American Express, where sales doubled in 2013 under her management. She helped launch Vente-privee USA in 2011 as Chief Operating Officer and oversaw sales operations, human resources, product development and a variety of strategic cross-functional initiatives. Previously, Ms. Brady held senior-level positions at AOL, in strategy and operations, and at NBC Universal, where she was part of the Hulu launch team and helped to transform the company’s Local Media digital business into a profitable and dynamic organization. Ms. Brady started her career in Technology and Health Care investment banking at Morgan Stanley.
Ms. Brady is a graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, earning bachelor’s degrees in Finance from The Wharton School and in Systems Engineering from The School of Engineering and Applied Science. She lives in New York City with her husband and son.
