WeddingWire Announces Management Promotions
CHEVY CHASE, MD–May 9, 2017–WeddingWire, Inc., the leading global online marketplace connecting consumers with event and creative professionals, is proud to announce the advancement of three distinguished employees, Felicity Chaban, Chris Chi and Emma Whelan to vice president leadership positions. The promoted employees add to the rising number of management additions over the past year as WeddingWire expands both globally and domestically. Chaban will now serve as Vice President, Legal & Deputy General Counsel, Chi as Vice President, Sales Operations, and Whelan as Vice President, Accounting & Controller.

Felicity Chaban, VP Legal & Deputy General Counsel
Since joining WeddingWire in July 2015 as Deputy General Counsel, Felicity has led the company’s legal team employment, marketing and real estate expansion efforts while also frequently contributing to corporate governance and compliance issues. She works closely with WeddingWire’s strategy team on business partnerships and, as an advocate for diversity, also serves on WeddingWire’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining WeddingWire, Felicity served as Associate General Counsel at Blackboard, Inc.
Chris Chi, VP Sales Operations
Chris joined WeddingWire in 2008 as a sales representative and ascended to Senior Director over the past nine years. He currently leads the Sales Operations team, providing service to both the Sales Management team and the broader company. As VP Sales Operations, Chris will continue to lead WeddingWire’s ongoing Canadian development and will spearhead additional international efforts.
Emma Whelan, VP Accounting & Controller
Emma joined the WeddingWire team in June 2013 and has served as Assistant Controller and Controller, implementing infrastructure that has enabled the company to scale globally . She also manages communication between the company’s European financial team. Prior to joining WeddingWire, Emma served as Audit Manager for KPMG US.
