WeddingWire Expands Leadership Team With Key VP Additions

Jessica Finnefrock, Emily Markmann and Ryan Owens Bring Experience, Expertise to the Growing WeddingWire Team

The newest set of company vice presidents include Emily Markmann as Vice President of People, Jessica Finnefrock as Vice President of Business Operations and most recently, Ryan Owens has been named Vice President of Engineering.

Jessica is responsible for driving alignment on business strategy, and she oversees consumer-focused product and marketing operations including product marketing, public relations, design and editorial content efforts. Prior to joining WeddingWire in 2016, Jessica was Senior Vice President of Development at Liaison International and spent 11 years at Blackboard as a senior executive managing product development and product strategy for the company’s flagship teaching and learning product.

Emily, who joined the team last year, drives global talent strategy for WeddingWire and believes in innovative, culture-rich talent acquisition and talent management programs aligned with strategic corporate objectives. Bringing nearly 20 years of experience leading award-winning, progressive human resources initiatives and strategic business operations, Markmann previously served as Senior Vice President of Talent & Culture at Clarabridge and Vice President, Human Resources at Vangent.

Owens brings a wealth of leadership experience having spent the last six years at Livingsocial as Vice President and then Senior Vice President of Engineering. During his tenure, Owens grew the company’s rapidly growing engineering team from 12 to almost 200 employees. His passion for elevating engineers as well as the products they build make Owens a perfect fit for WeddingWire’s expanding engineering function and platform offerings.
