The Knot Worldwide’s Ongoing Commitment to Trust & Safety

Throughout the first half of 2026, we have prioritized further strengthening our Trust & Safety program. Although much of this effort takes place behind the scenes, every enhancement is driven by our commitment to delivering a safe and seamless experience for our community.

Trust is at the heart of every connection made on The Knot Worldwide’s global brands. Whether you're planning one of life's biggest celebrations or growing your wedding business through our marketplace, couples and vendors alike deserve an experience that feels safe, authentic, and reliable.

Investing in Prevention, Not Just Response

During the first half of 2026, The Knot Worldwide has made additional significant investments to strengthen our ability to detect and address spam, scams, and other policy violations at scale. This includes building a dedicated Trust & Safety Operations team focused on monitoring emerging risks and improving policy enforcement across our marketplace. We are also continuing to further invest in our security team and capabilities to further strengthen our systems, processes, and protections.

We  have also expanded our engineering investment in this area with a dedicated team focused on developing systems that help identify and stop potentially abusive behavior more effectively. Alongside these organizational investments, we’re implementing new technology that enables more automated detection of potential spam, scams, and other policy violations, allowing us to respond quicker while continuing to scale protection as our marketplace grows.

Making Our Policies Clearer and More Consistent

Over the past several months, we've continued refining the way we make Trust & Safety decisions by strengthening our internal guidance, standardizing enforcement criteria, and improving The Knot Worldwide’s operational processes. These efforts help ensure that similar situations are handled consistently across our marketplace.

We've also updated The Knot Worldwide User Review Policy to provide clearer guidance around our neutral role in the marketplace ecosystem. Greater clarity in our process for verifying reviews helps set expectations for both couples and vendors while supporting more consistent decision making when questions arise.

Looking Ahead

Throughout the second half of the year, we remain focused on continuing to make  meaningful investments in prevention tooling, refining our approach, and sharing updates along the way as we build an even stronger marketplace for our millions of couples and 900,000 global vendors.
